A New Jersey news outlet accused rock legend Bruce Springsteen of hypocritically profiteering off of an expensive anti-Trump concert in his own home state while still portraying himself as a "populist" rocker.
NJ.com published a piece on Tuesday, "Springsteen’s N.J. concert was poisoned by hypocrisy. Anti-Trump final act is a tragic mistake."

It’s you again , Mr. Confederate. Nothing good ever came out of Jersey? Look up the history of my states notable authors, inventors, etc. Here’s for you: Admiral William F. “Bull’’ Halsey, born in Elizabeth, NJ.

Springsteen’s not only a phony, but he’s a fool. His garage band music is ICK!

I enjoy much of his music. As a musician myself I've always hated his "music" and always will. I've heard little kid's bands that are better than him.

I have hated Springsteen since the first time I heard him.

He apparently was a one hit wonder and thought he was meant for bigger things.
I just never understood his appeal.

I'm a musician, a drummer. While Max Weinberg certainly has the chops I never understood why he was playing for a really no talent guy like Springsteen.

AI confirms that this fraud has never had a working class job. His music is 100% fantasy, for this Obama best buddy.

Agreed. He had some decent albums up through and including Tunnel of Love. If he had quietly retired, lived off his royalties and avoided his ridiculous political antics he'd have left a very respectable legacy. As it is, he'll be remembered as a bomb thrower during one of the most divisive times in the country's history. Between Desert Storm and 20 years of GWOT, Springsteen has never done a USO tour for deployed troops. He likes to sing about veterans. He just doesn't want to have to smell them.

“Truth be told he isn’t as popular in NJ as he is outside.”
He packs stadiums in Europe which I don’t get. They love him in Scandinavia.

Thank you for posting that; I needed the laugh today. I can’t tell if he is falling down in honor of Joe Biden or if he is trying to give birth, thus proving that men can, indeed, give birth. 🤷♀️

That’s fine with me. If you don’t like the guy I don’t like him either.
I did like some of his old stuff though. NBD either way though, just pop culture stuff, way down the list of things worth fussing over.

I understand his concert tickets are going for as much as $3K each for the best seats. Yes, Bruce is a true man of the people.

I liked him up through “The River.”

The boy is only in it for the money. Exploiting the men and women in the military. He’s a greedy commie pig. I sure miss a real American singer, Toby Keith. He’d never do concerts trashing America and our miltary. Sprinkystein can kiss my Red, White and Blue arse. He isn’t half the performer Toby Keith was. God Bless Toby Keith and his American family.

Sure, Weinberg’s a good drummer but his talent is wasted with that elementary crap.

That’s cool. To each his own. But to live here in NJ and have to listen to the veritable hagiography they used to put out about “The Boss’’ here was nauseating.
