A little girl had her fourth birthday party ruined after two balaclava-clad teenagers destroyed a wooden stall she uses to sell eggs from outside her home.
Maisie Willis would regularly sell eggs from her chickens to passersby on her street in Holbury, near Southampton.
The stand was found smashed into pieces on a nearby road, with the eggs thrown all over the street.
Maisie's mother, Chelsea Willis, revealed that she tracked down the teenagers who have since apologised.
'She works really hard and doesn't even keep the money for herself - it goes into looking after the chickens.
'I can't understand why two boys would want to destroy everything she has worked for.'

I had much difficulty reading that word in the article. I had to slow walk the pronunciation. And I really didn’t know what it meant.
A. Compliments to the Mom, for having the courage to find those two kids, confront them with what they did, then get an apology from them. She’s lucky they had not yet gone
Full Feral and chose to beat the Mom up or cut her.
B. This is a good lesson for little “Susie”, that sometimes bad people do things and wreck your property, but all is not lost, you can make a new egg stall and you can try again, with all your Chicken plans. The lesson is ‘Wipe a tear, but don’t give up!”
Oh, you mean this topic, which was posted in Chat?

Two youths have to do more than apologize in my estimation here.

It’s news to me too.
I think each being tied to a tree, shirt removed, and 3 strokes with daddy’s belt would do for a first offense.
(picture the scene in ‘Happy Gilmore’ where the bad-mouthed quarterback’s Daddy is pulling his belt off while reminding his son about how to speak around the wimmin-folk.)

“You think this qualifies as news?”
It does display the typical trash of our youth. How can one apologize for deliberately destroying people’s property for no real reason uncovered? That’s nothing but pure evil. They need punishment. And to make matters worse, if they get off with an apology, histry proves they will get brazen and try it again, maybe worse. What’s next, robbing a liquor store or running someone of the road on a bicycle with a stolen car for kicks?

And the apology took care of matters? No restitution, no police, nothing? (The British cops would likely arrest the little girl)
That’s nice. The moderator moved it to Chat where it belongs.
“That’s a silly (and somewhat presumptuous and arrogant) thing to say”
Good. Then I fit right in.
It shows how stupid a teenager can be they need to be leashed at all time.
Their brains are not done forming a 100% yet.
About age 25 is the done time.
These two little sh!ts need to be horsewhipped until the stuffing comes out.
Three steps for justice:
1) Force the rotten eggs to replace the egg stand with an equal or nicer one they built themselves (not one that their parents bought).
2) Under pain of death, force them to explain in writing why they did this, and why they now realize it was an ugly, hurtful deed, and will not commit anything such in the future. Teenagers would rather be beaten to a pulp than answer the question “why”. If they mumble “I ‘on’t know”, tase their peepees.
3) Lock them up for a week with a jail or prison’s general population, with signs around their necks explaining that they are there for smashing a little girl’s cute egg-sales stand/home-produced eggs, turning her fourth birthday party into an ugly incident. Provide medical care as necessary.
