Dang it, I always loved that sone, sad to see him go.

I guess I’ve reached that age where many of the artists and stars of my era a dying off.

I can remember when mother showed me an obituary for an actress in the paper that I’d never heard of. Then I went to a store looking for a CD of Peter, Paul and Mary and the clerk had never heard of them. Really makes you realize history is divided into chunks by people’s lifetimes.

Good way to go, though hard on those left behind.

I am 86 and have lost all my golf buddies, many colleagues, all 4 siblings (I was youngest), most cousins etc. It’s the penalty one pays for longevity.

Thought it was a whiny, annoying tune. Just horrible.

He played acoustic rhythm guitar on the Hendryx cover of “Along the Watchtower”, so he gets cool points for that.

Right along with you on that... Keith Richards is now 82, which seems at once both impossible and entirely necessary. This is an E-Ticket ride, and it has an end (at least in this realm).
