Powerhouse attorney Lisa Bloom has claimed she has more evidence tied to a rape allegation against Eric Swalwell—and said more alleged victims have come forward to her.
Bloom, who represents Lonna Drewes, spoke to Ashley Zavala on California Politics 360 where she discussed her client’s allegation that Swalwell drugged and raped her in 2018.
Last week, Drewes stepped forward with her accusations against Swalwell during an emotional press conference.
“I’m very proud to represent the brave Lonna Drewes,” Bloom said. Bloom said Drewes’ case has since been escalated to the special victims unit and the district attorney’s office.
She emphasized that Los Angeles County law enforcement is treating the matter very seriously—and reiterated her confidence in the case, saying, “There’s no question in my mind.”
Bloom also disclosed that Drewes is preparing to present a significant trove of evidence that has been stored away.
“She has some additional evidence she needs to get out of a storage unit, there’s some additional witness names, people she talked to after the incident,” Bloom said. “We are fully cooperating with the sheriff’s investigation.”

I cannot stand Swallwell, but I ain’t buying the drug and rape accusation. Sounds Blasey-Ford-y......or even Julie Swetnick “ Brett Kavanaugh was standing by the punch bowl at the DKE frat party, where I’d been drugged and raped in the past....using spiked punch.”.......

I have no doubt that Swalwell is a real sleeze bag and proven liar, and security risk. But I must ask myself, why did this come out years later and at a time his presence in the governors race would almost assure a Republican governor? In my mind unless convinced by great evidence that is “reasonable doubt.”
This has Nancy Pelosi written all over it.
