Well, it won’t be the first time in history. Heck, it’s not even the first time in this millenium.
My heart is with the millions of Catholics who remain faithful and obedient to CHRIST, in spite of the frank apostasy of their worldly “upper management”.
I’m not Catholic nor support him but that picture could be of anyone.
The last two Popes Francis and Leo, have both had communist leanings. What I cannot, for the religious side of me, see as reasonable is the ‘taking’ of peoples goods and services for the poor. That is exactly what ‘socialism’ or ‘Communism’ or ‘Fascism’ does, it take from the individual by force.
To be sure, Christ was not forced into poverty. Christ never stated that individuals should be ‘forced’ into poverty by giving up what they have earned. No, Christ never spoke out against the rich but did say it was difficult for them to enter into heaven. The problem with being rich is the fixation on the money, instead of the fixation on God. A man cannot serve two masters, Mark 10:21.
The Pope, in his communism/socialism, just like Francis, must remember that gifts to the needy from the rich mean nothing to either if taken by force. The lack of free will by the rich does not lead to salvation or focus them on God. The gift to the poor from the Government makes them see Government as their savior, and NOT Jesus.
I think what Mark said about two masters is true, and serving socialism/communism, and NOT God is no different than serving money and NOT God. Put another way, there is nothing ‘God like’ or ‘Jesus like’ in Socialism, Communism, Fascism, or Progressive ideologies, IMHO.

I think that all of the upper levels of the Catholic Church have been packed with communist sympathizers. All of the pedophile priests are also part of the same problem. I don’t think the church establishment is capable of curing its self. The devout Christians will need to take out the trash.

Yes, the protest was largely organized by the PCI and its affiliates, but it grew to include multiple other groups such as environmentalists and various European peace activists groups.
