Morning Pookie! As always I’m delighted to see what goodies you have posted today!
There was this random guy Karl who grew up 10 houses away from me. We had a crazy amped up neighborhood back in the day, and everyone had big personalities, interests, energy and futures.
But not Karl. He was kinda nobody. Ever. He didn’t get good grades. He turned out for track, but my best friend didn’t like him. He didn’t have any hobbies. He didn’t join us in the tree farm to play in the mud or ride bikes. He was in no clubs, he had no girls, he was basically forgettable and nothing.
Forty Six years later, I heard the other day that Karl got into apartments. He started with one. Then another and another. I was reliably informed that he now runs well over a billion dollars worth of apartments. Literally yesterday, one of his employment recruiters left postcards all over my gym begging for employees of all kinds to help run these many massive apartment complexes.
Karl is a billionaire with personal houses all over the place.
Karl was nobody. Back in the day.
