Just ignore him. He’s going to find a way to bring his anti-Catholic bias into the conversation, no matter how off-topic it is.
The Kurds were given weapons to pass through to the Persians. Some folks were thinking/saying the Kurds kept them. I suspect some were passed through and the Kurds kept some. I don’t understand much of the muddle east other than they’re a tribal culture but the Kurd suspected actions seem reasonable to me.
Also - There is a huge black market in weapons. Private citizens may be armed better than we are and that’s going some.
Either way I wish the Persians luck against the religious nut jobs. The world could use some relief from those .... (I don’t have the words...)

Agree this is wishful thinking with no hard evidence that it is actually happening. Would hate to see innocent, brave people slaughtered but would be interesting to see if IRGC has the manpower or disposition to brutally suppress if the people did come out in numbers.
AMEN! If this is happening, it’s the beginning of the end for Muslim Iran. I hope they’ll also taking the IRGC members weapons and distributing them amongst themselves. (So that the group gets bigger, and can clear out more IRGC slime).

But more to the point: on a topic ostensibly about Iranians revolting against the IRGC, your first comment was "Oh, Noooooo The serpent Catholic are wetting their pants.", as though Catholics would be uniformly opposed in principle to the IRGC losing power in Iran (which is a farcical notion).
That's why I say "anti-Catholic bias", because you keep manifesting your animus against Catholics on topics that have nothing to do with Catholicism or Christianity in general.
