A 22-year-old woman and her unborn baby were shot to death in a restaurant parking lot in Kentucky after she honked her horn at a man.
Ava Woodcock died at University of Louisville Hospital on Tuesday after she was critically injured during a shooting the day before, which killed her unborn baby, according to the Glasgow Police Department, cited by Fox 10.
Brandon Bond, 24, was arrested for allegedly shooting the pregnant woman. He was charged with murder, first-degree fetal homicide, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
Woodcock, who was the mother of a one-year-old, pulled into Annie's Restaurant parking lot and honked her horn while Bond was across the street, according to WBKO reporter Brennan Crain.
Bond opened fire, striking Woodcock, who was in the driver's seat. The ordeal sent her car rolling before it eventually crashed.
The alleged killer took off into a wooded area behind a nearby recycling company before being apprehended.
Officials said Bond had been drinking alcohol and was not cooperative while being booked into the Barren County Jail.
He was arraigned on Wednesday, where his bond was set at $2million, and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 16.
Woodcock was initially brought to T.J. Samson Community Hospital before being airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital, according to WNKY.
A GoFundMe was set up in an effort to support her family during such a heartbreaking tragedy.
'This fundraiser has been created to support the Woodcock family as they walk through this tragedy,' reads the fundraiser.
'Donations will help cover funeral expenses for both their beloved daughter and her baby, as well as urgent and ongoing needs—including care and support for her young daughter.'

Why is it an 'unborn baby' in every situation aside from an abortion? Serious question.
Is it them, Yogi?
Not this time.
The guy was white trash that does not burn.
No, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out meth was involved.
Because the involuntary killing of a mother that is pregnant is a crime. In some States and countries it is legal end the pregnancy for the connivence of the mother. I support the termination of pregnancy for physical health threat and a severely deformed fetus. I had a family member that had to have a surgical abortion that was six months along that threatened her life and baby would not live no matter what any Dr. tried to do to save it. :-(

Too bad so sad, if he had a lot more melanin he would probably get off with community service.
Jack’s afraid of periods, it appears, but got a lot of commas on sale.
Perhaps he should read some Hemingway.
Domestic violence for the win. ☹️
Lived right up the road in Cave City and would go to Glasgow every Saturday for their Farmer’s Market set up at the Courthouse grounds, in the center of town.
St. Helen’s run by the Fathers of Mercy is amazing as well.
Great little town but, it goes to show that danger is everywhere.
Pray for those souls, Mom & Baby, for those that are heartbroken, and the killer. Yes, we are to pray for those souls that commit such horrors that they will repent and avoid hell.
“and honked her horn while Bond was across the street”
Another article says he was in the parking lot when honked at.
“Yes, we are to pray for those souls that commit such horrors that they will repent and avoid hell.”
I prefer that they rot in Hell.
Same rules apply - “Stay Out Da City!”
I don’t excuse the guy for being an a—hole. Definitely he overreacted. I just have a comment on using the car horn. For one thing, car horns are made to sound obnoxious. They are very unpleasant and cause people to react negatively to the sound regardless of how the horn button is pressed. This is a failure of auto manufacturers. They make the horn to be audible so you can be heard when needed.
Most people use the horn for purposes that it is not intended for. Hurry up! Get out of my way! Move! Sometimes you might just want a little beep but you press the horn button and it makes a horrible noise that people don’t enjoy hearing. It is not a surprise when people react negatively.
I in my incredible virtue do not use my horn to make someone in front of me get going. I will sit through an entire green light cycle until it turns red before I will honk my horn at the car in front of me. More often it is the car behind me that honks to get the car in front of me moving.
I think it would be nice if car manufacturers would put in a more gentle sounding secondary horn so you could beep at someone in a friendly way. Something like the Love Bug VW horn or a clown car horn.
“For one thing, car horns are made to sound obnoxious. They are very unpleasant and cause people to react negatively to the sound regardless of how the horn button is pressed.”
I wanna get a horn that goes “Mooo!”🐮
Or would that trigger fat people?
The main thing is that the murderers find out very fast if they end up in Hell or not.
I use a quick double tap to get their attention, usually because they are texting. Only full blast if they sit there completely unaware of anything or they see another car coming from 1/4 mile away and are afraid to pull out.
The headline doesn’t match the story. The story didn’t say she honked her horn at him. It just said she honked the horn.
The man was across the street. She was in a restaurant parking lot.
Does TN use the chair or the shot?
That’s one S.O.B. that deserves it.
