Trump’s presidential library will be the tallest building in Miami — and contain replica of his ballroom

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump’s presidential library will be the biggest building in Miami and feature a replica of the ballroom he’s adding to the White House, his son Eric said on Monday.

“It’s gonna be the tallest building in Miami, by far the best location in Miami,” he told reporters at the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll. “The piece of land is incredible and we’re really excited.”

The president unveiled dramatic renderings of his forthcoming library last week showing a skyscraper towering over the Miami skyline — with the “Trump” family name illuminated near the top of the building.

But Eric Trump, who’s leading the library’s construction, revealed more details about the memorial to his father.

“It’s gonna be amazing,” he said, adding that no other presidential library will “even come close.”

The library will sit in downtown Miami, on the water, on real estate gifted from Florida to the president. After years in New York, Trump now calls Palm Beach his home.

Miami Dade College owned the 2.6 acres of land, which it was using as a parking lot, and deeded it back to the state. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis transferred ownership to Trump’s presidential library foundation for the sole purpose of building the library.

The president intends to have just that one library in Miami — despite serving nonconsecutive terms in the White House and having previously planned for an earlier site on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, his son said.

In the lobby of the massive building will be the Boeing 747 aircraft that served as Air Force One. The president’s son played coy when asked how the massive plane would be brought into downtown Miami.

Rendering of Trump’s Presidential Library versus the actual picture of Obama’s Presidential Library. Obama’s library has gone VASTLY over budget and missed its opening timeline multiple times by many years. This is how I see Trump’s library being built: 1) It will be on time and right on budget, or 2) Activist Judges will put EVERY roadblock in his way imaginable … causing cost overruns and timeline delays. That's certainly more impressive than the Biden library:

Exactly .
Enough of this .

Lets build a Sleazy massive Casino Glass tower
in the heart of Hurricane Alley .

The Country and citizens are sinking from a
useless war over oil and Trump is promoting
another Glass Casino In Hurricane Andrew territory .

I haven’t seen the stats, but have seen the artist rendering of it shown in the context of the landscape. It is ostentatiously tall.

I’m puzzled by the Miami location. The location makes it not an easy place to visit. I would have loved for it to be in the panhandle where most voted for him and more of us regular folks could have visited.

76 meters...250 ft....not that tall compared to some NYC buildings. I reserve right to correct if I'm wrong...which rarely happens...

Real Trump aesthetic. It looks like a hybrid of a brothel and a skyrise

It reflects Trump’s personality; big and bold. And designed to drive democrats more insane than they already were.

Well, not all of us fly. Kansas would be more centrally located for most. I’m okay with it being in Florida, but Miami is a 5 to 6 hr drive from the panhandle... Just sayin...
