I sure hope all police treat AI as "leads, possibilities, options to consider" and not as evidence, truth or fact. AI often gives incomplete, biased, hallucinated answers.

True, but at least it gives answers (which can be follwed-up and validated) rather than walking right past threats and ignoring them.

I have lived thru a life where people say
“Well, the newspaper says...”
“Well, the TV says....’
“Well, the President says ...”
I bring the same skepticism to “Ai says ...”
To: spintreebob
I wonder if AI will say: Dave, the democRATs are communists and they are committed to exterminating all who are like you.

Miller's Crossing on suspects:
Another cop has Frankie cuffed in a straightbacked chair and is taking roundhouse swings at him. He pauses, breathing heavily.
Second Cop
". . . 'Lo, Tom. Care to skin a knuckle an your playmate here?"
Tom
"No. . . thanks, Delahanty. . ."
As Tom and the first cop leave the card room:
Second Cop
"Well if you change your mind, we'll be interrogatin' for a while."
Second cop resumes punching Frankie.

Absolutely. I’ve used AI for some technical questions and spotted what I knew to be errors. When I pointed them out to the AI it came back saying that it confirmed the error and corrected it. Just like a proper human should do.

AI often gives incomplete, biased, hallucinated answers.Much like the human faces one interacts with at gov't offices.

Just like a proper human should do.If this 'human' has any kind of 'authority' behind it, good luck.

Friend did part time work for an attorney, 9 years, she was called last week and told AI is taking her job.
I guess a lot of lawyers are moving that way.
