I sure hope all police treat AI as "leads, possibilities, options to consider" and not as evidence, truth or fact. AI often gives incomplete, biased, hallucinated answers.

I have lived thru a life where people say

“Well, the newspaper says...”

“Well, the TV says....’

“Well, the President says ...”

I bring the same skepticism to “Ai says ...”

Absolutely. I’ve used AI for some technical questions and spotted what I knew to be errors. When I pointed them out to the AI it came back saying that it confirmed the error and corrected it. Just like a proper human should do.

Friend did part time work for an attorney, 9 years, she was called last week and told AI is taking her job.
I guess a lot of lawyers are moving that way.
