“Brothers and sisters, this is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war,” the first American pope, citing a Bible passage, told congregants in St. Peter’s Square, according to The Associated Press.

“He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them,” he added.

Pope-a-Dope should learn to read infallible Scripture instead of listening to his retarded “church” fathers, “bish-wops”, levitating nuns, and ouija board and tarot card influences.

And
MINTMOG.

For all my disagreements with Pope Leo, I appreciate him offering balance and his effort to squash the surge of militaristic frenzy. Because...

Even IF the moves against Iran are all good and worthwhile, the spirit behind it should not be steeped in bloodlust or idolatry (including idolatry of nation, different from measured patriotism.)

This is the full transcript of his homily for those who are interested:

I would ask the pope to supply the chapter and verse on that. Then I remembered that they don’t “do” the Bible.

“So God didn’t listen to Abraham Lincoln’s prayers? Or Winston Churchill’s? Henry V was wasting his time praying before Agincourt?”

Or Sampson? Or King David? Or St. Joan of Arc?

How about when He told the Israelites to wipe out Amalek? Was He just joking?

How does the Pope know who God listens to? Maybe he doesn’t listen to him.

He just makes stuff up.

That’s not new.

It is the primary work of the magic-staring-at-em.

Goes back to 313 AD with the “origin of the Catholic Church - a tragic compromise of Christianity with the pagan religions that surrounded it. Instead of proclaiming the gospel and converting the pagans, the Catholic Church “Christianized” the pagan religions and “paganized” Christianity. By blurring the differences and erasing the distinctions, the Catholic Church made itself attractive to the idolatrous people of the Roman Empire. One result was the Catholic Church becoming the supreme religion in the Roman world for centuries. However, another result was the most dominant form of Christianity apostatizing from the true gospel of Jesus Christ and the true proclamation of God’s Word.” (Source: GotQuestions)

Learn something. Get out of the trap.
