God, in the Bible, plenty of time told people to go to war. I’m not sure the pope has read The Book.
So God didn’t listen to Abraham Lincoln’s prayers? Or Winston Churchill’s? Henry V was wasting his time praying before Agincourt?

I’m Catholic and don’t proceed to know the pope’s heart..nor do I agree with him much of the time. But I do appreciate him taking a stand for peace.
I trust that God knows Hegseth’s...but I myself am weary of the way he mingles suspect theology with politics.
