“ Today at the Board of Supervisors, we recognized for the first time, Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr known as the Festival of Breaking the Fast, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan—a time observed by Muslims around the world through fasting, prayer, reflection, and acts of charity. It is a time that emphasizes compassion, gratitude, and a deep sense of community....”

I now live in a “good neighborhood,” with ,” Safe schools.”. ( wink)
Now do it for Passover
Do Muslim countries issue proclamations honoring Easter and Christmas? Maybe some of them do, I’m just asking.
Now they can officially resume terrorist attacks, ... ... as opposed to the unofficial “incidents”.
No sue them to ensure the recognize all the Christian and Jewish events. Either that or they can not recognize any. That is how our constitution works.
when I lived in OC as a tiny kid in school, we spun dreidels and received gifts, and learned about Japan— cultures that actually work. That’s what school is for— you learn what works. Africa was anthropology to learn how primitive man evolved into what we had back then. We are devolving at present.
I can’t wait to hear the cries when those ignorant fools find themselves living under sharia. Time to fire up the loudspeakers for the call to prayer in OC.
It’s amusing to see how much the left despises religion, except for islam.
Walt Disney is spinning in his grave. He picked Orange County — twice, once in California and the one in Florida — for his major theme parks, and he surely never imagined the shitholes they would both become eventually.
Possibly the first indication that Orange County, CA was going off the rails was when B-1 Bob Dornan was defeated for re-election in 1996. Yes it was due to fraud, but the idea that even PART of Orange County could be so bad that it would have an election result close enough for fraud to matter was appalling. Viva la Reconquista!
Places like Orange County (CA), Delaware County (PA) and Nassau County (NY) were at one time the most effective GOP “machine” counties in the nation. And look what they eventually became. Nassau has fought back to some extent, but those other two (and many, many others like them in once-nice suburbia) are gone forever.
“Breaking of the fast” my ass! The “fasting” is only from sunrise to sunset. They sleep all day and pig out all night during Ramadan.
Where is the ACLU? Why aren’t they suing? Separation of church and state (and all that they tell us).
No no. The whole point of this is to continue crying “Separation of Church and State” while kowtowing to Islam. They have to establish Islam as the allowed religion.
Conquered. Jihadists DEMAND. Dhimmies acquiesce.
Unfortunately, that so called separation of church and state only applies to Christians and Jews.
I asked google your question and it told me Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt recognize Christian holidays.
I think Iraq, Syria and Indonesia too.
And the Hindu majority India has Good Friday and Christmas as holidays - i remember being very surprised when I went there in the 90s
“Today at the Board of Supervisors, we recognized for the first time, Eid al-Fitr.” Well, buy those boys an Easter ham.
What’s so bad about Orange County in Florida?
See for yourself:
Demographics for Orange, County, FL
Election results for Orange County, FL
When Walt Disney planned his second major project and chose that area, it was at least 85%-90% White and pretty solidly conservative (though not always "Republican" across the board -- this was still the Deep South, after all).
Now look at it today. White Flight began in earnest in the 1990s if not slightly earlier, and continues to this day. By the early 2000's the politics of the area had noticeably deteriorated -- and that was just about 1/4 century ago; this isn't news anymore. Orlando and its nearby suburbs dominate the county, and they have gone just about completely to hell, small enclaves like Windermere & Lake Butler being minor exceptions -- for now.
I’m in Orange County. And those things are not good but you can’t compare any city in Florida to any of the big towns in California. And in Florida, you break the law, you go to jail. But those demographic changes are real, so we’ll probably end up like Cal. I actually live down the street from Windemere in Gotha. Orlando’s mayor, Buddy Dyer, is finally retiring so the city will get a minority, democrat, homosexual mayor most likely.
The islamic invasion continues, unabated...
