This is a problem that Obama “solved” about 15 years ago. And his solution has been making everyone miserable ever since.
Maybe de-regulation would be a good idea. Just throw the whole industry wide open. Let the customers shop around all 50 states and buy the best package they can find — full coverage, catastrophic coverage, limited coverage, whatever they feel meets their needs and whatever they can find for sale at a decent price. Maximize competition to lower prices. Government should step aside and stop “helping”.
The real problem here is that even REPUBLICANS love the provisions of ObamaCare that have been the biggest factors in driving up health insurance costs over the last 15+ years.
There once was a warmonger Republican who was the deciding vote to saddle us with Obamacare when there was the opportunity to defeat it.
Once again, thank the good ole GOP elite for coming through for the democrat party.
