She is talking about some people in Israel, and their reactions to Iranian missiles landing, and presumably being all explody.
Being all explody is really bad. Yes indeedy. Not being explody at all is cause for celebration.
The people, especially the young, are remarkably resilient and adaptable, especially considering all they’ve been through.
My beeber is stuned.
I wanted to read this but I’m giving a shower to a møøse right now
I have older friends that have decided that they are too old and feeble to make it to the shelters. They have told me that if Hashem wants them, he can have them. Unfortunately, there are many who feel that way. If I were there now, I would be one.

You get your kicks you way, I get mine my way. Go back to drinking beer and watching your Real Housewives spinoffs.
Sometimes, jois de vivre and pancakes are insufficient. Can’t believe they didn’t have adequate air defenses around Dimona. This means they’re shifting to more strategic targets, a nuclear reactor and all. Dumbasses who let October 7 happen didn’t think they would do that, either.
Missile strike on Dimona: 10-year-old boy seriously injured
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/424319
Forty-seven people were injured by an Iranian missile Saturday evening after it directly struck a building in the southern city of Dimona.
One of the victims, a ten-year-old boy, is in serious condition; a woman of about 30 suffered moderate injuries in the strike.
All of the victims were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.
Twelve impact sites were reported Saturday evening.
Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that a ten-year-old boy and a woman were moderately injured by shrapnel. Around 18 others suffered injuries while running for shelter. It is not yet clear if the missile was a fragmentation missile.
Apparently there is a painfully funny skit by Quentin Tarantino (who lives in Israel I learned — random) about different people types in bomb shelters.
I have been unable to find it.
As a guy who almost got busted a rank for getting coffee before I took shelter from incoming in Afghanistan this is right in my wheelhouse.
Do you know where a link is?
I am neither too old, nor too feeble. I just refuse to do it. Not running down the street. Shelters are no safer than the foyer of my apartment, which might be better, in fact.
Yeah that’s the article that made me want to find the skit.
No luck! (Thank you for looking, though.)
The point of this post is?
I am not sure what it means.
young people having a bomb shelter party?
Some people will find any excuse to party.
I think it’s a matter of being joyful and thankful in the midst of a dangerous war.
Thank you for the summary.
I can see that.
Make something happy because it is depressing and miserable now. Enjoy life because you don’t know when it will end. Keep morale up.
Think of the movie “Downfall” when all the Nazis were having a big ol’ party in the Bunker with the sound of Russian artillery in the background.
I feel the same. Even though I am really old, I can still run like the wind. Or maybe a slight breeze.
