🤔The government just raided the headquarters of a 3-million-device criminal army-for-rent, the Pentagon led because military systems were being attacked, Big Tech helped execute it, and the real payoff isn't today's shutdown it's the years of prosecution data now sitting on seized servers.  @Homeranger17@FBIAnchorage

🚨JUST IN🚨The Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), FBI Anchorage, and international partners disrupted four of the world’s largest Internet of Things (IoT) botnets that together were responsible for millions of infected devices and hundreds of thousands of DDoS attacksMar 20, 2026

The title makes no sense.
Holy Jesus!
It’s a tough read for sure.
This is a massive 'bot farm that is responsible for multiple severe denial-of-service attacks and probably any number of smaller ones, aimed at businesses and government. From what I have read, the raid also netted the data about some of the actors doing the work as well as some of the sponsors paying for such attacks. If that is true, that could make for some very interesting indictments (or something more forceful if foreign governments are invovled)
Thanks for adding clarification.

Trace to source and obliterate.
Glad the Pentagon led it and not the compromised/ineffective DoJ and FBI. The FBI would probably be destroying evidence if it was just them.
Who would/realistically could fund this, other than a foreign gov’t?

Thanks, I’d clicked on it and found little. Alaska though, that was curious.

The Biden criminal org would have just demanded their cut.
Bkmk
It does if you work in CyberSecurity or IT networking.
3-million-devices were hacked/controlled by this IoT (Internet Of Things, which is the stupidest way to say your Wyze camera, Alexa device, internet fridge, TV, etc.) “network” were for hire to attack whomever they were directed toward.
The US Pentagon was involved, because they were attacking military systems.
Track them all down. After they’re convicted execute them in the public square.
Use flamethrowers to do it.
