The pair met in the Oval Office and fielded questions from reporters, one of whom asked why Washington had not informed Tokyo of its plans to attack Iran.
"We went in very hard. We didn't tell anybody about it because we wanted surprise," he said. "Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor."

Not too many Pearl Harbor jokes out there. The only other one I know of is via Henny Youngman:
Did you hear about the guy who was half black and half Japanese? Every December 7th he attacked Pearl Bailey.
I don’t think Youngman ever ran for prez, so Trump’s line probably will get more exposure, giving the lefties (and pretend MAGA) something new to tut-tut about.
