An Iowa school principal was arrested on first-degree harassment charges two days before his wife filed a restraining order against him, court records show.
Justin Blietz, 40, was booked into a Linn County, Iowa, jail in connection with the alleged harassment on Saturday, March 14, according to online court records reviewed by PEOPLE.
Blietz allegedly told a woman he would slit her throat and "watch her die," according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Gazette and KCRG.
It wasn't immediately clear who the subject was of his alleged harassment.
Blietz is the founding principal of a charter school in Cedar Rapids, according to his LinkedIn profile. His profile on the webpage of Cedar Rapids Prep, which opened last August, says he lives with his wife and children and "creates a culture where all students feel safe, supported, and connected."
Blietz's Facebook account shows him posing with his children and in holiday photos.

Another compassionate liberal.

A perfect example of confusing your outside voice with your inside voice...
Gaydar is pegged, sir!
I feel like this might be half of the story. Probably some female depredations, and some alcohol inside of him when he expressed his frustration.
Johnny Cash fan?
He couldn't even make it through a school year.
Cedar Rapids, area code 319.
Talk about timing. Coincidence?
I knew that off-hand because was just 'there' yesterday, reading about it being "The City of Five Seasons"...
The City of Five Seasons was based on a Bible verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1 β βTo everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.β The new logo and branding line were accompanied by this explanation:
Life is the sum of all the seasons with which it is filled. And if we have time to enjoy the things most important to us, life is rich and full indeed.
In Cedar Rapids there is time enough... time to enjoy the seasons as they pass. Extra time. Precious time. A fifth season.>>>

Justin Blietz must have thought the 5th season was just in time for slashing.
Payday going off.
Yep!
All that’s missing is the Broney costume.
“he lives with his wife and children and “creates a culture where all students feel safe, supported, and connected.”
Uh huh π
Here’s some good advice:
Do not lay your hands on other people without their consent.
Do not threaten violence against other people.
Assault and Battery are real crimes, and can be felonious depending on circumstances.
Sounds like a cutting remark.
Very.
He thought wrong.
A..It’s a shame about Principal Justin. He lacks the ability of self control. We have all had ‘wicked’ (mean) thoughts flash across our mind when we get riled up. The trick or skill is to not give voice to this angry thought right then and there, during working hours. Such impulsiveness can trash a career in only one statement. He may need to quit this job and start over in another school district. as asst.
B.. I don’t know a great many passages from The Bible. There is so much of it. I won’t pretend that I do. But that verse you cited; Ecclesiastes 3.1 “To everything there is a season” is one I have always cherished and tried to apply within my own life. I understood the psalm when I first heard it as a child. It was used in a song written by Pete Seeger, sung by The Byrds in 1965; “Turn, Turn, Turn”.
What an article. So finally ‘who’ is the woman that was threatened?
Remember always add, “I kid, I kid, I’m kidding, I’m being sarcastic.....”
Wink, Wink.........ππ€ππ€π€¨π€¨π€¨π€¨
It’s one thing to not have read many passages, or to have few in memory.
Most people either leave it at that, or try to do better, even to quietly use the Good Book for inspiration without drawing attention to themselves.
Unfortunately in this guy’s case...
Ecclesiastes 3
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die..
...it looks he stopped reading right there when he got his inspiration!
BTW I love that song. Plus by way of the entertainment industry, the passage became famous throughout the broader culture, without anyone needing to open a Bible.
God works in mysterious ways.
He has elf ears.
Now, I can’t unsee that feature.
