As long as that friggin “Unicorn Song” is not on the list, it’s ok by me.
I like Altan’s Harvest Storm album.
I self identify as somewhere between 1/365th and 1/366th Irish depending on the year.
Top o’ the morning to ya!
I went to grade school at St. Patrick’s School, and had several Irish nuns for teachers. One of them even taught us how to dance the jig. So I consider myself an honorary Irish lassie.
Hubby is legitimately 1/4 Irish, and his father was born on St. Patrick’s Day, so we have always celebrated this wonderful day.
Anything by The Pogues.

I didn’t see “Harriman” on the list, nor “My Wild Irish Rose”. I have a friend, who is part Irish with beautiful red curly hair, and she sings the most wonderful version of MWIR. She taped herself once for us, and sent it in an audio recording, so now I can listen to it whenever I want, but I do especially on St. Patrick’s Day.
This eejit writer refers to that great song “Whiskey In The Jar” as “Whiskey In A Jar”!
And Celtic Women? Gack!
My favorite

Red Is the Rose (same tune as “Loch Lomond”)
Come over the hill, my bonny Irish lass
come over the hill to your darlin’
You choose the rose and I’ll take the vow
that I’ll be your true love for ever.
Red is the rose that in yonder garden grows
fair is the lily of the valley
Clear is the water that flows from the Boyne
But my love if fairer than any.
‘Twas down by Killarney’s green woods that we strayed
The moon and the stars they were shinin’
The moon shone its rays on her locks of golden hair
She swore she’d be my love for ever.
Red is the rose...
