Their fries are sorta OK - Sorta, if they are hot, and lots of salt. People are missing out on a real dining experience. Americans used to know how to make junk food.

They are completely inedible when cold, turn to cardboard sticks. That’s a tell. But never mind all that, they still taste like crap. I’m not a foodie snob, another problem, my guts can’t handle the hydrogenated chemistry set stuff any longer. I don’t think they ever could.

Exactly. I remember when their tallow-cooked fries were so delicious.

Right on. I make our steak fries at home using beef tallow. They could be a meal
by themselves they are so good.

There was a time many years ago where I would go to Burger King and get a Whopper and then go McDonald’s to get fries.
