Beautiful shot! I’ve climbed that pyramid at Chichen Itza, in El Castillo. Fun memory.
The creepiest part of the park tour was the ‘bottomless pond’ where they would sacrifice children by draping them in all kinds of jewelry and treasures, then push them in.
*SHUDDER*
The park wasn’t very well maintained - lots of trash around and graffiti on the actual monuments. But, you know, it was Mexico. *SHRUG*
