Anent my previous question: I just had a quick look. Found this:

Avoiding him in the future, as I had in the past. His blog however is interesting in that none seem to be commenting on it in the blog. Another John Semmens, perhaps? Like nextrush, Semmens links to "Semi-News/Semi-Satire" at the GOPBriefingRoom. So using FR to get Freepers to read their words / work.

Thanks for seeing it, too. We all have some sort of "about" page on FR. Some are blank. Some are loaded with graphics. Some are loaded with texts. But there are FR ways for getting some sort of insight to a Freeper.

In like manner, one can go to a user's comments summary. In many cases what I have found is that the self-promoters -- when responded to by someone's comment -- never engage in discussion or debate. Or almost never.

Clicking on your screen name tells that your page is blank, excepting that you began "Apr 15, 2024." But the "In Forum" option shows all your comments. Or mine. Or anyone's, culled from threads.

In the case of some self-promoters, their "In Forum" page shows this. Post and ignore when others comment. They want you to read them. but they don't seem interested in reading you.

The first page of FR states, in part, " We are a political discussion forum...."

Takes two to tango, and sometimes hundreds.

I look to some self-promoters's threads and find they show little or no interest in the "political discussion." Perhaps you might as well?
