If you can do the work, you can find it.
Bullseye
Want to know a secret? No school ever taught anybody anything. The subjects are learned through personal effort on the part of students. The Gen-Zs don't appear to have interests outside gaming and social media.
who is generation z??? Like genders, this is all to confusing...
“ Why do I get the feeling some of this is not so much “The damn kids won’t work” and it’s actually more “The damn young people refuse to be sheep and minimum wage slaves and are demanding to be treated like human beings”
Because you’re one of them?

That’s life.
You have to step up to the plate and stand in the box.
If you’re going to go down, go down swinging.
Bosses are firing Gen Z grads just months after hiring them—here’s what they say needs to change
College Students Are Testing at the Level of 10-Year-Olds (7.4.26)
“Why do I get the feeling some of this...”
The reason you get that feeling is that you pull it out of your ass.

Those born between 1972 and 2012.
Texting and social media, entitled, coddled (Self esteem movement)... They lack the ability to “get along” and “communicate.”
Low educational standards. They’re told they are geniuses and want to tell their superiors and elders what to do and how F’d up they are, but they are clueless idiots.

“making an honest effort to LEARN the mission statement of their employers”
If I walk into a company and they have a “Mission Statement” within eyesight, I have a visceral reaction and not in a good way.
It takes me back to the days when more time was spent on bullsh!t “crafting” Mission Statements; Inspire Excellence, Six Sigma, and ISO training; etc., than working. Too much airy-fairy gobbledegook and too little performances.
The only necessary mission statement is “do your effing job” so the company makes a profit, and no whining”.
You were a pretty good antagonizer bot until you got yourself zotted.
>>the Gen Z workforce is utterly consumed by social media and gaming.<<

>> Working hard these days gets you nothing
Don’t you claim to run an IT business or some such crapola?
The reasons offered in the snipped text pretty much cover it.
>> If you can do the work, you can find it.

(&/or the work finds YOU thru word of mouth)
She sounds like Mustang material.
My son started working in the produce department of Wal-Mart just before starting his senior year in high school. It was a good experience for him (and his parents).
