I was hoping the Kurds would move in and force the IRGC to come and and meet them. Then we would have them out in the open. But I guess the plan changed and the Kurds are hanging back for now.

I don't think the Turks, Iraqis are in favor of an independent Kurdistan.

As much as WE think the Kurds deserve it based on the way they have helped us since the second Gulf War it may not be the best for long term peace in the region. Currently, the Kurdish region in Iraq operates as a separate autonomous region. Maybe the same thing could happen in northern Iran/Persia. We don't want a war between the Kurds and Turkey.

I'm leery about the Kurds because I'm afraid they would be long revenge and short on creating a representative government.

Iraq Kurds have said no at this time. Iran Kurds said nothing until the bombing ceases.
