An arsenal of US stealth bombers is expected to soon reach UK military bases as President Trump warned Iran that “the big one” could be imminent.
American B-2 stealth bombers were slated to land at air bases at Diego Garcia in the Chagos Islands and RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire after the British government initially rejected the Trump administration’s request to carry out strikes from the bases, according to reports.
But Prime Minister Keir Starmer later reversed course, allowing the US fleet to use UK runways within “a matter of days,” the Telegraph reported Wednesday.
“When we say more to come, it’s more fighter squadrons, it’s more capabilities, it’s more defensive capabilities,” he said. “And it’s more bomber pulses more frequently.”
Meanwhile, Israeli military chief Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said in a televised statement Friday that the joint US-Israeli bombing campaign has “additional surprises ahead which I do not intend to disclose.”

What’s the message here...Is it good info or bad info for the enemy.....let’s say we have a surprise for them...
Same stuff, different craft unless they are carrying B61s.
There is more going on as well. Kurdish troops have moved into Iran, and these are experienced troops.
China has stopped buying Iran’s oil.
We have localized air superiority across the southern Iranian coast and will now begin striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory. Iran’s ballistic missile fires are down dramatically from day one, by upwards of 80%.
Israel has lowered command guidelines from severe to moderate.
I imagine the IRGC will have to move out to meet the Kurds. Highway of Death 2.0? Then the Kurds get a relatively easy mopping up task.
Yeah, I like the way this is shaping up now.
Then the Turks will invade Iran.
It is a mind f…
my feeling is that “the big one” is here in the form of fleets of B-52’s dropping thousands of tons of bombs 24x7 across the full extent of Iran ...
Just bring in the C 130 Gunships and start blasting the ragheads!
If I were the Kurds, I would ask Trump to send in the BUFFs first, then A10s during the attack.
Same goes for the B1.
Why would the US base the most secret and expensive aircraft (B2) in the world in a hostile country?
Diego Garcia, located in the Chagos Archipelago, is the primary UK-US joint military air base in the Indian Ocean, serving as a crucial strategic hub for long-range bombers and naval operations. While part of the British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), it is heavily used by the U.S. under a long-term agreement.
I wish people would read all the words before posting. The area around US airbases in “the north” and “wales” are not problematic. If you want to see problematic UK, travel to urban centers.
I think Iran is also making a mistake targeting Azerbaijan. Not only did they strike an airport, but they are now threatening to strike the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline that exports Azerbaijan’s oil to the Mediterranean. While some of this oil goes to Israel, most (about 70%) goes to Italy. Azeris are the largest minority population in Iran, accounting for about 20% of Iran’s population. And they are mostly concentrated in the north and northwest of Iran. If they join with the Kurds, who mostly exist in the same regions, they could take a big chunk of Iran. And while Turkey might not support the idea of carving out a Kurdish state in Iranian territory, they might support an Azeri one.
On the topic of bombers, I read that B-1b Lancers are arriving RAF Fairford in UK, so they won’t have to fly across the Atlantic for their missions.
Thanks, great info.
“While some of this oil goes to Israel, most (about 70%) goes to Italy.”
Maybe that’s why Italy has been talking military involvement lately. From Real Clear Defense:
“Italy’s strategic focus is on its vulnerabilities in the Mediterranean and North Africa, where Russia and Turkey are actively competing for influence. The presence of Russian equipment in Libya and the Red Sea poses a strategic threat to Italy’s interests. Italy’s military personnel are present in various locations, including Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, and the European mission Apsides, which faces missiles and drones from Yemen.”
Don’t believe everything you are told.
