Elisabeth Hasselbeck is singlehandedly shifting the Overton window for what’s acceptable to be said on The View.
As the panel was trashing Kristi Noem, she set off a grenade by making ironclad arguments for a closed border.
“How many people in the audience had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand.”
HASSELBECK: “I think all lives matter to God.”
“And we are in uncommon times, so we need to have uncommon sense about things like this.”
“Yes, there will be mistakes made, but I think if Kristi Noem were up for promotion right now and she put forward the statistics that zero illegals released into the U.S. for 10 months straight have not crossed.”
“That nearly 3 million aliens have left the United States.”
“That we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years.”
“That fentanyl trafficking is down 56% at the border and daily encounters have gone down 96%.”
Joy Behar tried to interrupt, but Hasselbeck kept going.
“Hang on one second.”
“We need a strong border especially now with the current global situation, and I believe that you may say you don’t want border control and you’re against ICE, but I don’t believe you in your daily lives.”
“How many people in the audience had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand.”
“Just be honest, otherwise you got to jail, I guess, for illegal trespassing.”
[Camera cuts to audience members raising their hands]
“This is an authorized audience. They had to go through security, to get through the border, to get right here to just hear us talk.”
“We need strong borders more than ever right now.”
“We are being infiltrated!”
Immediately, she was attacked by almost every panelist sitting next to her.

Amazing.
She’s either VERY BRAVE or VERY STUPID to be on that HIDEOUS show.
I read yesterday that she said “we LOVE each other”!! Not a chance, Elizabeth.
And it is the lowest of the IQ Americans that sit in the audience. If it weren’t for public schools, there wouldn’t be an audience.
Same thing applies to vote integrity and ID, democrats!!! god, who needs them? absolutely nobody, say it again.

A closed border is what Americans agree is needed. Now she can try to defend Kristi Noem.
I would guess that she honestly loves her cohorts, but I doubt that love is reciprocated. These vile women are incapable of loving anything but themselves.

She was the token conservative on it a while ago now. This was a courtesy return visit for her. I think they got rid of her because she was making the others look too bad if that was possible.
If she is stretching that Overtron Window of possible discussion on The View. it may only be a temporary phenomenon. Right now, they may still be treating her like a guest, with the restraints of courtesy.

I never have watched The View but her name was familiar so I clicked to see her. I’m trying to remember WHERE she did come from when she did appear as a regular...Google says she was on Survivor that I ALSO did not watch so it must be from clips long ago of The View. A beautiful lady..and pretty darn smart!

from wiki....From 2003 to 2013, Hasselbeck appeared as a co-host on the ABC daytime talk show The View, where she became known for her conservative views on sociopolitical issues.
I also never watched the show but during the years she was on many a thread here on FR would go over whatever the topic was back then. Hasselbeck was considered by many here to be a lightweight but over time I think she became a solid conservative. She was a lone voice on the show. She is Christian and married an NFL player and the contrast in appearance to the others is stark.
She is a guest token conservative so she has nothing to lose. They cannot get anyone to go on that cackling henfest.
