He’s not even an Evangelical. He’s Presbyterian, so what does he know about scripture?

Except to misuse it to claim abortion and faggotry is OK.

I am not worried about James Talarico.

What worries me is John Cornyn. Another 6 years of that guy handing us all failure after failure is unthinkable.

“I am not worried about James Talarico.”

Given the questions surrounding his past, Talarico would likely be a significantly easier opponent for Paxton to defeat than Crockett would have been had Democrats chosen her as their nominee.

What worries me is that democrat primary turn out for both of their candidates dwarfed repubican turn out.

Unless there is a super human effort by the republicans to get out their base...which has now turned trump only —either republican contenders for the texas senate race are a lock to lose the election in nov.

Real votes are more important than opinion polls. See this youtube

When I saw Talarico spew hate on the dedicated work of ICE, I knew he was a Marxist DemonKKKrat. He called them murderers for the unfortunate killings of Good and Petty. Those killings were called “murders” before any investigation into the facts were made. If that charge were made in a trial, it would have caused a mistrial.

Talarico is playing to the anti-ICE indoctrinated voters. Those who did the indoctrination are America haters. Talarico is their “useful idiot.”

“What worries me is that democrat primary turn out for both of their candidates dwarfed repubican turn out.”

That’s only because the Republican senate primary was cordial while the democrat race was so contentious.

Current vote totals (with 96โ€“98% of votes reported, per major outlets as of March 4, 2026):

John Cornyn (incumbent): 904,548 votes (41.9%)
Ken Paxton: 878,412 votes (40.7%)
Wesley Hunt: ~292,005 votes (13.5%)
Minor candidates (Sara Canady, Anna Bender, etc.): under 2% combined

None of the Repubs got a million votes. Things better change fast if Paxton or Cornyn expects to win in November.

Very possible, but this blasphemer is dangerous. Rats may hate Christians, but this fake Christian will tickle their itching ears, and they will put any reservations aside to get one of their demonic brethren into office. Itโ€™s painful to admit, but this snake could win. Texas is changing, and the Rats are waiting to take advantage.

Cornyn received 904,548 votes.
Paxton received 878,412 votes.

Combined: 904,548 + 878,412 = 1,782,960 votes for the two of them.

The total votes cast in the Republican primary: 2,159,476

(this is the reported statewide total from official/aggregated sources like NYT, Wikipedia summaries of AP data, and other outlets, with >95โ€“98% counted and final tallies aligning here).Votes not for Cornyn or Paxton: 2,159,476 โˆ’ 1,782,960 = 376,516.

This was a Democrat Senate primary, so who cares? Crockett lost and is now out of a job as a Congress woman.

The % was also much more spread out than the Dem primary, though.

Going into the fall the texas democrats start with a 152,075.

party vote advantage.

The Texas Republican primary turnout for the US Senate race (March 3, 2026) totaled 2,159,476 votes cast in that contest.

This is the aggregate number of ballots marked for the Republican US Senate primary, as reported consistently by sources like the New York Times (citing AP data with >95% counted), NBC News, NPR, and Wikipedia summaries of official results. Key breakdowns include:John Cornyn: 904,548 votes (41.9%)
Ken Paxton: 878,412 votes (40.7%)
Wesley Hunt: 292,005 votes (13.5%)
Minor candidates: The remainder (~84,511 votes, or ~3.9%)
No candidate reached 50%, so Cornyn and Paxton advance to a May 26 runoff.

The Texas Democratic primary turnout for the US Senate race (same date) totaled approximately 2,311,551 votes

(derived from candidate totals with high reporting percentages). This reflects the votes cast specifically in the Democratic US Senate primary contest, per NBC News, New York Times, Texas Tribune, and other outlets. Key figures:James Talarico: 1,212,328 votes (52.4%)
Jasmine Crockett: 1,068,220 votes (46.2%)
Minor candidate (e.g., Ahmad Hassan): 31,003 votes (1.3%)
Talarico won outright, avoiding a runoff.

Subtracting the Republican total from the Democratic total:
2,311,551 โˆ’ 2,159,476 = 152,075.

I think you have it backwards. Paxton, no matter his bona fides as a conservative, has plenty of baggage that will not appeal to many conservative voters, and while they are highly unlikely to vote for a heretical โ€œpastorโ€ like Talarico they could very well just stay home, and that would hurt Republicans down ballot as well. I yield to no one in my wish to get rid of super RINO Cornyn, but Talarico is dangerous, and the Stupid Party better get their act together or weโ€™re looking at a senator that will vote like AOC while selectively quoting the Bible. Please note, I have never before wished so fervently to be proven wrong. To be continued after the midterm election.
