Facing a $100 million revenue shortfall largely due to federal Medicaid reimbursement cuts, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, the largest affiliate of the national abortion business, has begun selling Botox injections and other cosmetic procedures to generate new income.
The affiliate, which serves Northern California and Nevada, is introducing the services amid significant financial pressures. It closed five abortion clinics and laid off nearly 15% of its staff in 2025 after losing substantial Medicaid funding following a July spending bill under President Trump.
Stacy Cross, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, said of the funding gap, “We’ll never fill this $100 million gap. It’s impossible. But we have to do everything we can.”
She added, “We know we have to face reality to keep our doors open. That’s where these new services come in.”
Botox is now available at the abortion company’s Sacramento clinic for $9 per unit, at least 25% less than the $12 to $15 per unit charged at nearby medspas. Typical treatments include 10 units per eye area for wrinkles or 40 units for masseter muscles to address teeth clenching.
More than 30 staff members have signed up for accredited training sessions on administering the new products later this year. The services also include IV hydration therapy priced at $100–$150 per bag—compared with $185–$500 at medspas—and nitrous oxide for pain management during procedures such as IUD insertions or removals.
Dr. Laura Dalton, chief medical operating officer, described the changes as part of staying current: “We’re not stagnant. We want to be relevant and want to learn new things.”
She noted a key advantage: “We don’t have the same profit-margin expectations as a medspa.”
Samantha Pohlman, aesthetics program director, acknowledged initial reactions to the shift: “Everyone’s first reaction when I tell them that this is what we’re doing now is, ‘What?’ with a raised eyebrow.” She added, “For me and for us, I think it makes perfect sense.”
For pro-life Americans, the botox goes right along with the baby-killing business – sacrificing children to serve self.

I love the Botox mouth, reminds me of Jerry Mahoney.
Nancy Pelosi will love planned parenthood now.
So now Planned Parenthood is doing Botox injections? Ha, ha, ha. The Babylon Bee strikes again!
Oh, wait. It’s not the Bee.
Never mind.
PP’s new slogan: You’re not fat, Baby, it’s just a clump of fat.
I doubt they are licensed to do cosmetic medical procedures.
These places have been selling pills and morning after stuff like water, I am sure its nowhere near as bad as they are claiming. Their revenues from pills was up.
RE: not enough cash to make up the difference....
If the Botox works then they can pimp out women as prostitutes, raking in money for Planned Parenthood.
I would think assisted suicide would be more their speed.
Possibly millions of new members if Iran opens up.
Botox injections are a big porn industry thing. I won’t get TMI, but it’s a butt sex thing.
Maybe we can get PP to do spay and neuter the work envisioned by their founder?
First question:
WHERE do they inject Botox?
Great, just what the world needs...more grotesque clown lips on ugly girls. Just shut them down.
She added, “We know we have to face reality to keep our doors open. That’s where these new services come in.” Well, at least it’s better than murdering babies.
