Blue in Green was my first exposure to Evans. Brilliant composition and piano tonal coloration. He was a perfect piece for Miles’ very short-lived (‘58-‘59) modal jazz inventions / experimentations. Wish Miles would’ve recorded a few more albums along those lines (after Milestones and Kind of Blue). Peak of this career. Thankfully Evans ran with that style in the early ‘60s and recorded his (imo) best work.

That said, most people are going to be just fine with the soul-less sounds of AI-generated audio slop. That’s what they’re listening to now, hyper-processed auto-tuned hip hop crap. It’s already soul-less and fake.
Not at all like Bill Evans, whose wife committed suicide by throwing herself in front of a subway train after she learned Evans had walked out on her.
Musical and artistic geniuses a lot of times inhabit very terrible spaces.

I was fortunate to have seen many of the jazz icons in live performances including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton ( three times). I can’t imagine that any AI could capture those experiences, especially seeing Buddy Rich and his group performing in a small club
I think I can tell a human drummer from any robot/machine/ai drummer.
There is an element of soul or feel with human players you absolutely do not get with AI/machine/digital.
