DALEVILLE, Ala. (WTVY/Gray News) - An Alabama teenager was killed late Thursday after he was attacked by a pack of dogs, according to authorities.
Dale County Coroner John Cawley said 16-year-old Gabriel Damien Barron was fishing in his private pond on his Daleville-area property when dogs described as pit bull mixes mauled the teen.

This kid was not on his phone, not playing video games, not robbing a store, not at a anti-ICE protest, and not speeding down the highway.
He was fishing! Enjoying life! On his own property!
Heck, forget locking them up. Death penalty for the dog owners is appropriate.
Maybe these dogs are feral and no owners involved. I would hope an owner is not irresponsible enough to let a pack roam free. If there are, then charge away.

NOBODY here in Japan allows their dogs to roam free I am happy to report .
2nd degree murder would be better. Merely by owning a pit bull. the owner displays a reckless regard for human life. [or any other life].
Handicapped dog got killed by pitbulls in Washington. Owner could not get them under control. Supposedly a machete was used but didn’t work. That should have been able to cut their throat or something

Daleville is just a few miles from where I now live. Tragic.
Unfortunately, when it comes to pit bulls, even a grown man with a machete can have a hard time bringing it down. Pits have been disemboweled and still kept up their attack. They are mindless dogs when they go into attack mode. That’s all that’s on their mind.
Yes, it is the breed. It is also the owner.
