These trucking companies always have their assets owned by shell llc’s that they “lease” from. When the company gets sued they go bankrupt immediately and start over with a newly formed llc that “leases” from all the previous llc’s.
I’m sure you’re right. This is a practice that needs to stop. It’s really fraud.
I’m interested. Where was your friend rear-ended? Since Hendricks county is where I live, and I’m one mile from the county center, and I traverse all of it very regularly. Mostly to Avon, Brownsburg, and Plainfield, in that order, but to the lesser parts also (Clayton). This fatality has really bothered me. Way too close to home. I am praying for Terry Shultz’ soul and his family left behind in such a *could’ve been avoided* tragedy.
He was an owner operator. Self employed .
7 different trucking companies at the address he used.
Total scam.
Omg , thank you for that info.
How TH does he have a valid CDL??
At least it’s not affiliated with Yacht Rock!
So Boone county?
I am so disturbed over this. I want ALL of them out! I am sick of this BS!
There’s a reason I don’t live in other places, and part of it is so that I don’t have to deal with this kind of cr@p very much. Danville is wonderful, but there are lots of folks who think they’re special. I may need to move further away from *civilization*.
I’ll check into Plainfield immigrant trucking. I have no doubt you are right.
How many new warehouses do you have where you are? They’re all over the place in Brownsburg and Plainfield, especially with Plainfield being so close to the airport.
I am totally disgusted, hurt, and p!ssed off.
Omg.
Do our overlords even care?
I guess not.
I’ll be talking with my friends. Almost everyone I know has lived here 50 forevers. I am a newcomer, but all of them know each other, and have for all of their lives. This has to stop.
Yeah they are. Kissing cousins. Makes me sick to my stomach.
He should be dragged behind his own truck.

Dots?
Not sure. I’m not real familiar with the area. I live on the far NE side of Indianapolis. Her daughter lives in Avon and I think they were in the car on a road south of town. Her daughter lives on Woodfield Drive by an elementary school. I think they’d been grocery shopping at Meijer or Kroger’s and were heading home if that helps any. The policeman cited the guy for driving on a road he wasn’t supposed to be on in a truck of that size. She stopped to make a left turn, and they guy just plowed into her. Thankfully no one was hurt, but her little Kia was pretty badly damaged.
Yes, I think I know almost exactly where you mean. I shop at that Kroger often. There’s a Meijer in Plainfield just a few miles south of where she lives. I know that elementary school, too.
They’ve been doing lots of construction in that part of Avon. You’re right, those big trucks don’t belong there.
This fatality has shaken me. It really could have been my husband that particular day and time, but his doctor appointment was rescheduled. Had it not been for that, that would’ve likely been his route home, and the timing would’ve been spot on.
Or it could’ve been me. I travel that way about 3 times a week. I’m not a complacent driver, not at all, but this incident has shaken my sense of security.
