He wrote to Truth Social Thursday night: 'Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War... to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)'

Trump added that they will also aim to release 'any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.'

I really really miss Art Bell.

I trusted him more than Any other broadcaster cause he was honest, and while he did take some political stands rarely, but was always willing to listen to an opinion different than his and was not afraid to call BS on stuff and go to open lines.

And I will always remember the original area 51 broadcast where the guy flying his plane over it was shot down

Releasing files, as with Epstein, is one thing. Making them say what a lot of people want them to say is something else.

Trump doesn't seem to mind controversy. In fact, he very well may even like it. In his book The Art of the Deal, he says quote "bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all. Controversy, in short, sells.”

He also seems very interested in perpetuating his namesake beyond his Presidency. And, being the very first President who supposedly claimed "aliens are real" as part of some sort of "official disclosure" could be seen by him as a prize ripe for the taking, whether the claim is even fully mature or not.

That could explain his voiced displeasure with Obama stating it recently in an interview, if Trump saw that as stealing his thunder, or recognition.

As for whether "aliens from extraterrestrial space" are actually here among us, count me in the skeptics. I believe more of what the Holy Bible preaches, that any creature of unknown origin is more likely spiritual.

I never heard of him or Coast to Coast am until around 6 or 7 years ago with George Noory.

Heard a few of the classics. I should join the archive service and listen to the others.
