UK blocks Trump from using RAF bases for strikes on Iran — and he is already retaliating

The UK is blocking President Trump from using its military air bases for a possible attack on Iran — because the lefty government believes such strikes could violate international law and doesn’t want Britain implicated, according to a new report.

Trump has already hit back by slamming the UK prime minister’s plan to resolve a long-running dispute over a strategically crucial chain of islands in the Indian Ocean.

The White House is drawing up plans for a possible military strike on Iran that involves the use of the Royal Air Force base Fairford in England — which is a forward operating base for America’s heavy bombers, the Times reported.

Trump reportedly spoke with Prime Minister Keir Starmer about the plans Tuesday night, and UK officials were worried that giving the US permission to use the RAF bases for a military attack could breach international law, according to the Times.

Trump made a direct reference to the UK base in Diego Garcia — part of the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean nearly 6,000 miles from Britain — plus RAF Fairford.

He said the military facilities were necessary to attack Iran if the Islamic Republic fails to reach a nuclear deal with the US.

As the UK succumbs to Muslim invasion, responsible nations should join together and take custody of England’s nuclear arsenal.

“Drawing up” plans? If you think the U.S. military doesn’t already have plans for just about any kind of attack anywhere imaginable on planrt earth, I’ve got a bridge to sell you in Taos, NM.

We don’t get many details of the negotiations.

Largely because Iran is prepared to agree to restrictions on enrichment and probably even inspections to ensure the restrictions are adhered to.

The Israelis and neocons in the administration are configured to not take “yes” for an answer. They want to dictate policy inside Iran beyond any nuclear matters. But their public discussion is always about how the Iranians are refusing to agree to nuclear restrictions, because that plays better publicly than trying to sell dictating policy to a sovereign nation about matters having nothing to do with nuclear proliferation.

just as reprehensible as what Turkey did right before Iraq invasion, not allowing US to fly in their air space. as for this, let DJT pile on Starmer. his government is in big trouble and England would love it if we helped government to fall.

Showing their true colors. Italy and Germany are closer. Of course, I don’t know which countries have just what is needed for an attack. Turkey and Kuwait are even closer; will they cooperate?

If one doubts the quality of one’s inspections, perhaps one should improve the inspections.

Turkey wouldn’t let us use their airspace to attack Iraq.

This is to be expected. After all, the UK is an islamic country.

That reminds me of the statements I hear about aircraft carriers being obsolete. The response is that those ships are six acres of sovereign territory that can appear anywhere in the world. You just have to be creative about how you use those six acres.

I don’t think I ever saw the signed agreement.

There is a tendency to let the media tell what it says. I don’t recall what the Iranian position was.

No they are not. They have already refused what you say.

Owen, do you live in Tehran, by any chance? Perhaps at the Iranian “embassy” in London?

It’s remarkable how quickly some people here on FR forget their history.

Turkey’s leadership came out of that one looking brilliant — especially compared to the retarded baboon we had in the White House back then.

Keir Starmer is a vile WEF worshiping reprobate. We should never expect any help from the likes of this sort. He probably has a poster of Gavin Newsom on his bedroom ceiling at 10 downing.

Canada’s Mark Carney is exactly the same.

These two were installed to wait out President Trump and then continue on with their wicked evil agenda modeled after the CCP style of totalitarian surveillance state Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) w/digital ID social credit score control, after having descended into soft despotism with no public resistance or outcry.

Almost there.
