ransomnote: Heard about the website under construction at Freedom.gov?  I checked it out and put my findings in post #1. It looks legitimate.

NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT WHAT THE STATE DEPARTMENT JUST DID

They are building a government website, (freedom dot gov), that will let people in europe access content their own governments have banned.

Anything restricted under EU law.

The site may include a built-in VPN that makes your traffic look like it’s coming from the U.S.

They say they won’t track user activity.

For context, the EU just fined X €120 million for not complying with its content rules.

Germany alone forced the removal of over 16,000 pieces of content in 2024.

Now the U.S. government is building a portal to make all of that accessible again.

A former state department official called it “a direct shot” at european laws.

The domain was registered January 12. The site currently shows a login page with the words “fly, eagle, fly.”

The next 12 months of U.S.-Europe relations are going to be WILD.

Let’s see what happens. I’ll keep you updated.

On another note, I’ve been digging through insider filings for 12+ hours, and tomorrow is the day.

I’ll release everything I found. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss anything.

You’ll wish you followed sooner.

Is there a site for Americans to see what US media refuses to show?

That’s fine but don’t forget that the Euros will send a hit squad if they feel they need to. Just like they did with the no nukes loons.

I’m taking this as sarcasm, but if this is a serious question, VPNs that let you mask your actual location/nation. I use a paid VPN, but there are free ones that should serve the purpose.

In addition to the government that blocked it, add the third party contractor and the country they blocked it from.

They're not government employees; they're contractors, and they're very likely not hosted in the country that's censoring the the content.

Government A has no claim to block content when it's actually being blocked from Country B. Country B is violating rights when blocking content in Country A.

They're going to find Google in particular is blocking content from the U.S., violating the First Amendment. They already did it for the government of Communist China. Let the lawsuits fly.
