I remember years ago when one of the Olympics was overseas and all the coverage was on tape delay in the States.

Posters on FR were asked to not put the results in the header or body so as to not “spoil” it for those that were waiting to watch the delayed telecast.

My attitude is that if one wants to avoid seeing results of anything before they are wanting to, stay off the internet.

It was on television ... USA Network here on my Fios system. Internet had nothing to do with it.

I’m planning on watching when I get home from work. But I’m not spoiler phobic. Indeed, for those that are stay off the internet. I remember the actual Miracle was tape delay, but all the news place broke in to announce it. Still a great game.

I actually knew the results of the 1980 USA-Soviet Union hockey match before it was televised. Some neighbor blabbed and I over heard it. And then I noticed even before ABC televised it, Jim McKay couldn’t contain himself.
