Senseless? The world's largest sponsor of terrorism? The one nation on earth that openly promises to use nukes to destroy two free western nations? An authoritarian theocracy that tortures and murders those it disagrees with? An unstable nation that is currently at war with its own citizens? Pres Trump has been THE Peace President of the 21st Century, but I trust and agree with the use of military action in Iran if he deems it necessary for the safety of the people of the US, Israel, and Iran.
This is just speculation on my part, but Epirus has developed a High Powered Microwave system (Leonidas) that can take down entire drown swarms, including fiber optic controlled drones.
This system has been in development since 2020.
I am speculating that this is why they had to wait for the USS Ford carrier group. Either it, or one of the vessels in that group, has this system aboard.

Btw, if you did have a clue, you’d realize that military power is but one part of the equation.
I know it’s an oxymoron to even suggest the Mullahs could do the SMART thing. But, I’ll give it a try! Why not agree to Trumps demands and in a year or two or three renege on them! This COULD save them a Trillion dollars NOW and might even save their asses! They renege on every “deal” they make anyway. It seems logical and smart to do it now!

It looks like the U.K. has made things more difficult with denying U.S. access to their bases, RAF Fairford and Diego Garcia for our bombers. I guess they are following the French model of diplomacy.
I’ll take that bet.
