Trace Gallagher is reporting that Pima County Sheriff is blocking the FBI from evidence.

The Lindburgh law.
Good question is why she went to Kelly first? Doesn’t make sense to do that because then it gets politicized. What did she say to him? What’s his connection to this?
Beginning to think it is an inside job hoax. Could be many reasons.
I.e.
Good way to transfer funds to Bitcoin without being taxed.
Mother is declared dead, inheritance is distributed, mom is living outside of country under new alias.
Any legal matters against the mom cannot be furthered.
Family members arranged “kidnapping” to get inheritance.
How does any kidnapping organization single out an 84 y/o grandma? They usually go for children. What is with the finding pics later? The glove in the house many days later?
Took 9 days to figure out the guy is 5’9 or 5’10?
Suppose he is wearing lifts? Who carries a firearm dangling loosely above the crotch? Seems strange.
Of course, truth can be stranger than fiction.
FBI/sheriff know more than they are divulging to the idiotic press.
Just random thoughts.
Problem is Pima County has been democrat run since the 60s. The sheriff’s main job is to keep the corruption money flowing. Investigating crime? Not sure he’s ever TRIED that before!
All IMHO but I’ve lived in Pima County during the 70s and again after 2000.
No suspicion necessary after 24 hours - there’s a legal presumption that if they are held more than 24 hours they’ve been taken across a state line. Feds can invite themselves in even before the 24 hours has run.
18 U.S.C. Sec. 1201(b): “With respect to subsection (a)(1), above, the failure to release the victim within twenty-four hours after he shall have been unlawfully seized, confined, inveigled, decoyed, kidnapped, abducted, or carried away shall create a rebuttable presumption that such person has been transported in interstate or foreign commerce. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, the fact that the presumption under this section has not yet taken effect does not preclude a Federal investigation of a possible violation of this section before the 24-hour period has ended.”
Is this sheriff somehow involved in this woman’s disappearance?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
If he’s a hardcore ‘rat that’s a very likely possibility. Have tests confirmed whose blood was found at the woman’s home? Because hell, the kidnapping could be a hoax in which the sheriff, the victim’s family, and even the victim herself could be complicit!
She probably wanted him to use what influence he may have been able to exert on the police, to motivate them or just to get information.
Wouldn’t you call your Senator in a situation like this, if he were a personal acquaintance?
Sometimes the people here scare me...
“Old people often cherish their independence and insist on making decisions for themselves. A lot of them would really resent their children dictating how they should live.
I would refrain from assuming what the children may have wanted, and what their mother refused”
Yep, I know this first hand.
About the guy at the door, there is NO video of him actually getting INTO the house..so how did he get in, no reports of any broken windows, so he didnt enter that way..he didnt bust the door down, there was supposedly a security door before the main door. My Moms duplex she owns has one of those things you cant bust through its impossible so there is no evidence this guy as creepy as he was and he was creepy as hell, there is no proof he actually entered the house
And about the ransom, the Guthrie family had said two days prior to the ransom demand deadline that “We will pay” so what what happened, they decided NOT to pay..so they were not concerned like “Damn if we dont pay today shes dead” so either they found out the ransom note was a Nigerian scam or something else happened
I think the brother in law is involved, he has pretty much disappeared, and his two band mates, they came up with this money making scheme because the brother in law needed the dough and something went wrong
Since Nancy did have a nest cam how come NO video footage of the brother in law bringing her home, same goes for the Uber driver picking her up
I watched News Nation a few days ago and a lady was saying the gun holster in the midsection is something mexican gangsters do not sure if that is true but supposedly its a common practice of theirs
Most of the older people in this rural area work/own businesses-even the disabled ones-and are very capable of doing for themselves. They would remove any relative from their property at gunpoint who tried to dictate to them about care or anything else, telling them to mind their own f’ing business or they are no longer welcome-I know 3 neighbors who have done just that-I’d do it, too.
That nonsense about all old people needing to be in a living center, needing meds to survive and under surveillance 24/7 is just that-nonsense. More old people eat a healthy diet, work and avoid drugs now more than a few decades ago-and it works for us...
It seems strange to me that Samantha Guthrie didn’t harp on her mom being barely able to walk, dependent on meds, blah, blah before a few days went by-the mom was missed when she didn’t come to church as usual-and she also had a car. then suddenly, she is weeping on TV for her poor mom who can barely walk and needs her meds every day-whipping the urgency. She also never says what meds her mom needs to live-insulin? Anti-seizure meds? If that is so, then cops are looking for a body-not a living woman. I honestly think this is an inside job-to get money one way or another-a relative or relatives could have hired someone to grab mom, ask for ransom, then off her and hide her body-there has been NO proof of life in 11 days...
I think I would have called the local LE first, the senator second. The police can be on scene in minutes. That’s just me, I guess. Maybe she felt that the Sheriff’s department is worthless. Actually, I think Kelly’s influence might make things worse.
Kidnapping is a federal crime since the Lindbergh kidnapping. Technically the FBI has jurisdiction.
The Sheriff if a hardcore Dem rat, he hates the FBI since they work for Trump..he doesnt want to have to give the Trump Administration credit for anything since the Sheriffs dept fumbled this ENTIRE investigation from the beginning and it pissed the Sheriff off when the feds got credit (Along with google) with the video footage release so now he wants to say “Hey see, we got DNA see we are not idiots”
As far as I can tell no legitimate ransom demand was ever sent directly to the family and there have been several Hoax demands made.
In a kidnapping case the FBI is always called in and run the show, not local law enforcement. Kidnapping is a Federal Crime.
This whole investigation has been handled as badly as you imagine, seems high profile cases always are.
This woman is not alive and is probably buried in the desert somewhere. The only clue is the pacemaker. Why is not possible to track a signal from it somehow, if it can paired with a Phone then surely there is a way. Of course that would mean calling oil someone from the private sector that can figure something like that out.
The question is how much longer is this going to play out in the media?
All of this reminds me of a Kirk Douglas film from back in the 1950’s called Ace in the Hole https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043338/?ref_=nm_knf_i_1
plot summary: Hoping to rekindle his dormant career, former journalist Chuck Tatum, now working for a local newspaper, exploits a story about trading post owner Leo Minosa who’s trapped in a cave, but rescue efforts soon blossom into a media circus.
The Lindbergh baby says “hi”
Maybe she or her family had already been in communication with the police.
It’s ridiculous for us to assume that we know all about this. We know very little.
The ransom note supposedly started by saying “Dear Savannah” and said they wanted 6 million USD..NO ONE says USD here in the US, so it might have been a Nigerian scam, reminds me of those emails I have in my junk folder “Dear Sir or Madam we need 50,000 USD immediately”
Obstruction of justice
The story is that the Sheriff's Office found the glove the first day, before the FBI was called in, and never told them about the glove until the last day or so.
