1950s= Great music
1960s= The best music decade (by far)
1970s= Gimme a break...horrible (with one or two exceptions)
1980s= Some pretty good stuff released
70s music was fine until the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash. That’s the day the music really died.
I enjoy the 70s a bit more than you, and I certainly love my 80s. The four decades you mentioned were, and are still great music, because it was before auto tune. Either you could sing or you couldn’t. And rapping may be poetic rhymes, but it’s not a pure talent like singing. (I may sound like an old fogey here, but I also prefer my music without constant swearing and filth.)
70s was incredible music. If you aren’t finding it, you aren’t trying or weren’t alive then.

Hey. Disco rules, man.
The 1970s had some great music, with the notable exception of disco.
1970 - 1980 was the decade Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones dominated.
It may have been the best decade in Rock history.

The 70s were great. Hard rock ruled but early on it was pop-ish. Leftover 60s stuff.
Zeppelin, Nugent, Aerosmith, Heart, Van Halen, Clapton, Eddie Money, Rush, etc.
Filled my 8 track collection.
