New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:
Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.
Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

A lot of elderly people are very stubborn and insistent when it comes to their independence. If she didn’t have a live-in helper, it’s probably because she refused one.
Far enough away to avoid cameras, which would be tough, but I sure do hope your prediction proves true.

90% its the son in law. You can see the mustache and beard around the mouth. Outside the waistband crotch carry is comical. Nobody does that. 😄

We are used to thick mittens or gloves but this was taken in Tucson, Arizona. He didn’t use latex style gloves for some reason.
One ex FBI agent said the criminals sometimes make a slight tear in the glove by mistake when handling something or brushing past something sharp and the residual dna or touch dna from sweat may be evidence.
Your observation is very smart. Makes a lot of sense out of what otherwise appears to be a peculiar thing the perp did.

i’ve never seen a burglar geared up to this extent: full-body vinyl suit to prevent cellular DNA shedding, hair shedding, and fingerprints, two shoulder-mounted flashlights ... special front-mounted pistol holster ... this is NOT a burglary ....
What happens after this? Do these cameras only record for so long? Where’s the video of the camera being ripped from the door?
And his rape and torture kit in his backpack. He removed and dumped the body to hide evidence.
Great work by the FBI in recovering the video. Hard to prove an identity based on that video but perhaps further evidence will turn up.
