Rents fall again as Trump’s deportations rise
Washington Examiner ^

What do you think would happen if we got rid of 15 million illegals. Our young people and kids and grandkids, could buy a house like my generation did, we are to take care of our own, first.

School enrollments* are also going down. School departments in my area with high immigrant populations have refuse to acknowledge it yet.

* Enrollment based on the year to year October 1 counts so this predates the enforcement surge. Portland had projected a year to year demographic decline of 156 students, actual 2024 to 2025 was 380!

Absenteeism is a separate issue. Portland Maine right now is just under a 20% threshold* they will use to trigger “covid era” remote learning for some students. Other area school departments have noted it — I not seen direct info on the issue in those schools. It really only affects about 10 of the 261 school districts in Maine.

* The info they published only show 20% at one school and 5 to 15% at other schools. The info was presented as school 1, 2, 3, etc. masking the actual school.

A buddy of mine sent me a picture from the pumps in the Bay Area he was at. I said “I’m going to Costco later, will send pic from pumps there.”

Yeah, gas is $2/gallon less here in GA.

When we got the raise they were able to find replacements for the night shift in one week at the higher rate. Another lesson learned. INS inspector came randomly to check for illegals. The system worked.

Just yesterday Scott Jennings was explaining that housing prices increased due to Biden’s open borders because it increased demand. The DEI dullard Abby Phillip’s demanded proof.

Bad, bad orange man is making it harder for slumlords to earn a good return by decreasing the demand for their properties.

Deloitte has major welfare control as prime IES contractor in 25 states, CA, TX, FL, GA, IL, PA, NY, etc...mostly the big states, not MN. Deloitte gave 12 times more to Kamala than Trump and much more to Dems in congress than Republicans.
