Washington Examiner ^

President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policies are not the only reason for the decline, but they are a big contributing factor. Enforcing immigration law and allowing more homes to be built are doing more for renters than slogans and rent control ever did. I

Goes without saying. Totally expected. It's the market working. Next thing is to eliminate welfare. Those able bodied will go to work out of fear.

My other solution previously posted: Everyone living alone in a studio or one bedroom apartment should take on a roommate of the same or opposite sex. Empty apartments will bring prices down and 2 folks sharing the same bed will be a lot happier! Room for the cats too.

The bad news is my condo will go down in value.

I was happily surprised, too, to see gasoline for $2.73 in upstate NY today.

This reduces the cost for a citizen family.

Perhaps more kids will come out of it, at least from the heteros.

If these numbers are reflective of a trend we shall soon see relief for our schools, hospitals and other institutions.

Even more so when the public subsidies for rent for illegals starts to dry up, removing a huge monetary inflation of the rental housing market, which they were trying to expand to the real estate purchase market as well to drive american citizens out of the market. What I want to know is how Schumer and Jeffries profited from this grift? Where are their offshore accounts, spouses who get inflated salaries running NGOs etc?

If you are already paying rent, no, it likely isn’t going down. New rental rates are going down, and have been. Read the article, it is interesting and informative.

I have experienced the almost instant increase in wages when illegal workers are deported. In HS I worked at a newspaper printing press night shift. One night INS hauled away half the night shift. The remainder of us got an immediate 40% pay raise to not quit.

That’s a roll of the dice. Back in my poor college days I had a variety of roommates. They were all a bit crazy, one way or the other. Ugh.

(Of course it’s possible that they were all normal, and I was the crazy one.)

The benefits of Trump’s strict immigration policy have gone beyond even my best hopes. Lower rents, a massive drop in crime rates, more jobs in construction and other trade industries. If the MSM was remotely fair, this would be a major story. But the MSM is a bunch of partisan hacks looking to undermine Trump at every turn so they ignore it.

The rent subsidies is what keeps rent prices high.

Rents are down. Home prices will come down. Total Employment for Americans are up. Wages will go up. The crime rate is way down now that over 600,000 foreign criminals have been deported.

Keep going. We need to deport millions every year.

I can imagine some meatpacking houses becoming echo chambers. Maybe we got self-driving e-cars just-in-time to replace taxi and Uber drivers on their way home.

As Elon's robots put people out of work, we don't need competition from illegal aliens for the remaining positions.
