Well, it is from GP’s POV.
Now only if we had someone like Scott head the DOJ, just think how far ahead we would be.
In the moment and in that setting I sure thought it was.
BESSENT‘s IQ is 60 points higher than Lynch’s. Not even the same species.
Given that Bessent only said about 8 words when Lynch lynched him, I would say Lynch wasn’t interested in an answer.
Why aren’t we concerned that Bessent comes from the Soros world? Or did he?
Not really a zinger but what is important is he is giving these rats the appropriate amount of respect. Too long have we witnessed republican cucks enforce decorum towards their “colleagues” who refer to us in the most vile terms and tell the most vile lies.
Any witness ever responding to a rat should begin by reciting the list of crimes, corruptions, or disgusting acts committed by said rat. For instance every time Eric Swalwell asked a question the response should have started with “well in response to a traitor caught in a Chinese honey pot…”
Bessent is a surly MF’r and sharp as a tack. Entertaining to watch.
It is my understanding he worked in the Soros world when he was young. It was an opportunity for him at that stage in his career. It doesn’t mean he became one of their disciples. What could be more dangerous to Soros’s people than somebody with inside knowledge of their workings who is clearly not on their side?

As well, every time a conservative responds to an MSM “journalist”, every response should begin with a statement about the “journalist’s” lack of objectivity and professionalism, the “journalist’s” history of blatant liberal bias, and their complete and total dishonesty. Statement should include acknowledgment that we fully expect the “journalist” to misquote, misrepresent, and take out of context, anything that is said to them. The should be done for every question.

Reminds me of the President Reagan story:
A democrat came into his office and read him the riot act for 20 minutes. After he left, Reagan said, “I wonder what was bothering him?”
On the surface, you might just see that as a zinger, but if you think deeper, a lot of President Reagans life philosophy was revealed.
FDR famously hired Joe Kennedy to head the Securities & Exchange Commission., on the principle “it takes a crook to know one”.
I used to think Republicans were stupid. I mean, they probably are, but more likely they are in on it. Or compromised or whatever.
You’d see them on a “gotcha” interview or some story about whatever, and the “reporters” would lay out their bullshit talking points, framing the issue a certain way. They would invariably respond in some mewling way, when clearly the correct thing to do is never, ever accept a false premise to begin with. It is impossible to “win” a debate or have a discussion unless some sort of agreement on the facts are reached.
I can’t stand these “hearings”. There is 90% of their time spent on speeches and then a yes/no question. We all know they are not there to solve or investigate anything, just a bully pulpit for them. Why are the time limits so short? It’s not like they work long hours or most days.
