A shocking new twist has unraveled in the disappearance of "TODAY" host Savannah Guthrie's kidnapped mother Nancy Guthrie -- Nancy's son-in-law allegedly may become a suspect.

Thomas Cion -- the husband of Savannah's sister Annie -- "may be a prime suspect" in the shocking case, according to Ashleigh Banfield ... though we don't know why. Ashleigh reported the stunning possibility on Tuesday's episode of "Drop Dead Serious" and cited a source with "impeccable

“ The suffering of her mother should not be a national concern”

Showing compassion and concern in a tragic situation is not a weakness .

This crime was to hurt Savannah Guthrie, not her mother. I’d guess someone who didn’t like something that Savannah reported. Or “reported” since she’s probably a far-left “journalist”.

Savannah’s plea had tones of religion in it, so I wonder how this will play out with NBC?

Savannah is married 12 years with two kids. Not too shabby for a celebrity.

Same could be said for Komrade Kammy who married in the same year.

Celeb women marrying putzes seems to be working out.

That takes sibling rivalry too far.

I remember when Cal Ripken's mother Violet was kidnapped in 2018. It was all over the news at the time, simply because people will read the story if it's about someone with name recognition. Clicks, baby, clicks!

Raise your hand if you will be shocked that a family member did the deed.

And he thought he would just walk away and chill on a beach somewhere with a big Bitcoin wallet? Why do people do such stupid things?

Compassion for an NBC employee is just not required nor desirable.

Wouldn’t that make him the brother-in-law?

“ Compassion for an NBC employee is just not required nor desirable.”

A completely non Christian view . The left has exactly the same view of conservatives. Hate and revenge are views that will hollow out a person.

By being Christian to the extreme that you do harm to your self, you do harm to America

NBC/Comcast is among the most dangerous to the American Republic in existence

What I do know is the hate and vitriol on both sides is guaranteed to destroy our republic.
Yes get angry and work to fix things, that’s 100% needed and required of all of us.
But the reflexive hate is soul destroying for all people.
It’s possible to get angry and be motivated to make change in a positive way .

I dumped television in 1997, about the same time I became a member here. That’s why I have such different political opinions than all those leftists that are spoon fed propaganda by the MSM.

BTW, when I AM exposed to the national news sources, I’m shocked at what stories they choos to spend their precious time reporting.

And when I’m exposed to local news sources (I used to travel in my work), they ALL report as if their audience is in middle school. It’s insulting.

I remember when Katie Couric’s first newscast for CBS featured the birth of Suri Cruise, I knew right then, it was all over for network news. Could you imagine Cronkite, or Huntley and Brinkley talking about something like that?

Exactly! In fact, way back in the 90’s I used to say the second way news sources are biased is HOW they broadcast the story. The first is what stories they CHOOSE to report.

In fact, the begining of this was when I realized that with all the strife and wars in the world going on, the one they chose to report was El Salvadore. That’s where they chose to plant their reporters, so that’s what we heard about.

BTW, what ever happened to that Venezuelan war the MSM was whining about? 🤣

It’s entertainment only peripherally news/information. They chase ratings not information and that has always has been the case. Lots of ultimately irrelevant things the media hyperventilated about in the past to get ratings. For example that’s what the category “human interest” stories is all about! To get your interest, to get you to watch/listen/read to boost/maintain ratings.

Humpty Brinkley & Walter Crankcase did what the producers told them to do!
