A foul-mouthed Amazon delivery driver was caught on a doorbell camera criticizing the customers, claiming they would buy slaves if the tech giant sold them.
The unidentified worker began his rant as he approached the front door of a home in the Detroit suburb of Redford Township, Michigan.
“Got a million multi stops because these people out here in Dearborn Heights, they can’t go anywhere and get their own f------ s--- so now I’m sitting out here delivering a million packages to a million and f------ one houses,” the Amazon worker said, according to video obtained by ABC 7 Detroit.
The irritated driver complained that customers no longer shopped at brick-and-mortar stores, instead relying on mobile apps and deliveries.
“Nobody out here knows how to go to f------ Walmart or go to a Target or anything like that, these mother------- bro!” he said.
After scanning all the packages at the doorstep, the driver walked away, but not before making one last jab of the residents.
“These mother-------, if you would let’em, these mother‐------ right here would order slaves off f------ Amazon.
The homeowner, a single mother working three jobs and attending school, was annoyed at the driver’s comments because she pays for the convenience of online shopping during her busy schedule, the unidentified woman told the outlet.

Thanks! We do that. But we’d like to be able to tip on occasion. Without using Alexa or their app.
Unfortunately, the driver has a point. America has “no kings” except everyone who lives here. They are so lazy they have to have someone else bring them their Burgers and Pizza from the fast food joints. They’ve got Walmart employees pushing huge carts around the store that the shoppers have to dodge to keep from getting run over and hurt. They are like the semi tractor rigs of shopping carts. Fire away!
You hope. :-)
And virtue signalers claiming that the deliveries are for the elderly and infirmed but the people who ask whether the deliveries are running are usually young.
I’m just old school. I just don’t have it in me to ask somebody else to run down to McDonalds and bring me back a Big Mac, Large Fries and Diet Coke or Pizza Hut and bring me back a large pepperoni. Like the Burger King says, “You Rule!”
The good thing is that once Amazon figured out who the driver was, they didn’t have to deliver any more packages.
Makes no sense. I would much rather deliver 20 packages to 1 house then 1 package to 20 houses. If there are no packages to deliver you don’t have a job. You know how else to not have a job? Quit (or possibly get caught cursing on a customer’s camera about their business with your employer).
Methinks he resents the whole “working in exchange for pay” concept. Under socialism, he’d be sitting around receiving packages someone else paid for — wouldn’t he?
And yet in the 50's & 60's, you'd leave the back door unlocked so the milkman could leave the milk, butter, and eggs in the fridge.
We used DoorDash a lot when my husband was bedridden before he passed. I couldn’t take him out and I couldn’t leave him alone. He was hooked on fast food and wanted it at least once a day. He was 86 and past worrying about his health. DoorDash was a lifesaver for me. Since I was also homebound taking care of him, they often brought our meds.
I don’t need DoorDash any longer but got to know a lot of the drivers. Most were retired people trying to make a little side money and several were mothers working while the kids were in school. They were always SO appreciative of the people that used the DoorDash services. We are a small rural town and don’t have the crazies delivering that you find in some big cities.
I’m 71 and have a hard time lugging around large heavy packages if they are over 50 pounds. I do shop in person now but try to stay out of crowded places like Walmart because people refuse to stay home if they are sick. Delivery is also good to keep some of them out of the stores. If I do go to a store, I try to go when they aren’t crowded during cold/flu season or I do the outside pickup. It gets me out of the house. I do detest having to go inside and maneuver around all of the huge “personal shopper” carts. :-)
Delivery services do have their place.
Sounds like the customer service desk at ant NYC DMV. “Driver’s license? Are you crippled? Can’t you walk rather than interrupting my union mandated 2 hour lunch/siesta?”
Dammit...I have a FedEx package in transit thru Nashville (still no power after a week)...will I ever get that? Got me.
Loved their interviews, especially the felon who chimed in and said he’d work for Amazon delivering packages.
“especially the felon who chimed in and said he’d work for Amazon delivering packages.”
Yeah. Delivering our packages to his house.
I think maybe this person chose the wrong job.

Most people my age never heard of DoorDash except on FB. It’s very much a young thing. My daughter and SIL use it all the time. In a given week here, there may only be one day that DD is running because people here don’t like to tip. So you go on FB, ask if DD is running today before you place your order.
In the college town in the next county, it is hugely popular and most drivers here go there to make more money.
From what I read, DD here is very hit or miss. You might get it and you might not. We don’t even have pizza delivery
Or working in the salt mines
Nobody out here knows how to go to f——— Walmart or go to a Target or anything like that.
Have to agree with him a bit on that people are so damned lazy even Walmart’s stores you text a list of what you want drive there and they load it for you.
I believe the shut ins go crazy first.
