If you watch the coverage from around the nation there are not a lot of people in the streets. A few of the usual hot spots got rowdy, but even there the crowds were not large.
In AZ, for instance, there were 3,000 in Tucson, a very Liberal city. There were less than that in Phoenix, more than 3 times the size of Tucson.
https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/politics/immigration/2026/01/30/in-tucson-protesters-say-immigration-crackdown-is-personal/88435267007/
"An estimated 3,000 people protested in Tucson against the Trump administration's immigration policies."
"The size of the protest — significantly larger than the protest at the state Capitol in Phoenix..."
3k turnout in either Tucson or Phoenix is pathetic.
Americans want mass deportation.

Although I do suspect we will get breathless reports of the millions of strikers today from MSdnc.
We have to pretend the rabble have jobs in the first place.
Possible snow in Atlanta today. Yesterday, two Costcos I was at were madhouses based on the parking lots. I didn’t go in, went to the tire shop to get a battery in one, gas plaza at another. These stores had more people than these protests, and then some. No one was “striking”.
Say it ain’t so Joe!
😉👍
I dare say there will be hurt feelings here today.🤟🇺🇸
“Their big National Strike day was a fart in the wind.”
I didn’t even know there had been another one. Their stupid “strike” events seem to have the opposite effect that they’re hoping for, it seems.
I didn’t know it was a strike day.
Strike day on a Friday? People usually take the day off or go home early. The management team does that at my workplace and leaves us unsupervised.
They’re all probably at home watching the WNBA.
From the Idaho Statesman on the Boise rally....
“Hundreds of protesters gathered on the Idaho Capitol steps Friday afternoon as immigration rights advocates across the U.S. called for “no work, no school, no shopping” as part of a nationwide strike.”
Yea, not a great turnout.
I’ve noticed much less reporting of anti-ICE activity the past couple weeks.
Have you noticed the hot spots rotate? First it was LA for a few months last summer. That died down and Portland, OR flared up with insurrectionists taking over the streets for a few months. Then Minnesota became Ground Zero for the color revolution. There has been a smattering of activity here and there throughout, but none of the intense insanity seen in LA, Portland, and Minneapolis.
It’s almost like the paid protesters were being moved around.
We’re in Tucson this week. Did not see the protest. We did see a boatload of traffic around 5:00 on Valencia.
I work as a substitute teacher, and yesterday, I had plenty of opportunities to teach. Many teachers in the district apparently decided to join the “strike” against ICE, so there were many vacancies and I had a wide choice as to which class to teach for the day. I chose a history class, and when I got to the school, the secretary complained that there were three classes for which they couldn’t find teachers.
Many students apparently chose to boycott school, so in many classes up to half the students were absent. My classes were supposed to attend a workshop on career planning, but the workshop had to be postponed due to the high rate of absenteeism, and if they can’t work out a new date, it will likely be cancelled altogether, depriving the students of a workshop they could have found useful in their lives.
Although that stupid boycott benefitted me with a wide choice for jobs to choose from, it only disrupted the students’ education and had no impact whatsoever on ICE or the Trump administration.
Most kids are often looking for a way to skip class, with or without their parents consent.
I had to go into Sierra Vista today (largest city in Cochise County AZ).
At one intersection there were about 30 girls bunched up in a corner holding up defund ICE signs.
Students from the local community college under the guidance of their “instructor”?
That’s good news about the small rallies you report.
The MN rally yesterday was big. Maybe 25k or more.
But I’m guessing many of those people were bussed and flown in.
hopefully these students will grow a brain after they start paying taxes
Here is one of my favorite comments on the subject of modern education:
“The shamans long ago bamboozled the legislatures of every state into granting them a virtual dictatorship over the elementary and secondary schools. Then then proceeded, by terrorizing competent teachers and befuddling the public with their own brand of conjurer’s jargon, to eliminate intellectual discipline from the teaching of the established subjects of study, thus degrading them to suit the mentality of nincompoops and the taste of louts.
By this process the minds of intelligent children are of course debauched and crippled.”
Home school bump.
Not according to these LA libtard hairdos posing as TV journalists. In this spews clip, they claim “millions of people across America” were out protesting, and that the “majority of Americans” disagree with the Trump administration’s immigration policy. Both of these statements are flat out lies from the liars, but it aired on TV so the dimbulbs of LA believe it. I made it through the interview of the obese, stupid, nose-ring, pink-haired loser girl, but I had to stop at the next landwhale interview - reject females looking for a raison d’etre.
Strike day , lol Here locally
It’s 20 out with a wind chill to 10 . Snow expected with 20-30 mph winds
No lefty’s out and about here, there were some for Good two weeks ago, but she’s old news now.
