According to the article, the couple want to keep and bring up their child, but they are worried about the possibility of the biological progenitor(s) turning up and demanding custody. This is a realistic fear.

I know nothing about clinics like this — I wonder if they keep a dna database of clients? that would be easy enough to check. But I have no idea if that’s required by law and, I would wonder if this particular clinic even bothered.

That baby absolutely resembles the head of the clinic and something like this has happened multiple times before. The punishment for these crimes should, at the very least, be sterilization of these sick men and orders to pay child support.

Several years ago some fertility doctor was spreading his “essence” throughout the community. He had some kind of “God complex”. Several school classmates were half-siblings to each other, and some were even dating each other.
There are some things that if you really want done right you really need to do yourself.
The head of the facility may be a European cuckoo, or more likely, a bronze headed cowbird, notorious for brood parasitism, that is, laying eggs in the nests of other birds, lol.
