Fifty-five years ago, Democrat activist and community organizer Saul Alinsky published Rules for Radicals. Its stated purpose was not reform, persuasion, or compromise, but disruption -- manufacturing chaos, provoking conflict, and inciting revolution as a means of political change.
Alinsky was explicit: power is seized, not earned, and the ends always justify the means. More than half a century later, the book has not faded into obscurity. It remains the Left’s operating manual -- its tactical guide and its justification for tearing down institutions in the name of “progress.”
Alinsky prescribed a deliberate three-step process for political change -- one rooted not in persuasion, but in pressure. We are watching Alinsky’s guerrilla warfare techniques play out in real time in Minneapolis right now.
The first step is to create a crisis.
Alinsky argued that in a complex society, people do not act until they are forced to. The organizer’s job is to trigger a crisis by “rubbing raw the sores of discontent.” The crisis must be intensified to generate motivation.
Over the past year, Democrats nationwide have relentlessly vilified ICE agents for doing their lawful job -- enforcing federal immigration law. Agents tasked with apprehending illegal aliens are portrayed not as law enforcement, but as villains, fascists, and moral monsters. This rhetoric has not merely poisoned public discourse; it has actively encouraged confrontation between federal agents and radical protesters.
Even as this Democrat-designed and Democrat-sustained conflict has resulted in real-world tragedy, Minnesota’s leadership continues to escalate rather than de-escalate. Tim Walz has repeatedly attempted to delegitimize ICE itself, asserting that its agents are “not law enforcement”

The illegal invaders are a group that can be stirred up and provoked to commit great violence. Perfect for the Alinsky technique outlined in “Rules for Radicals”.
It is a miracle MAGA has gone as far as they have.
This all works much better when the opposition is unwilling to jail those causing the chaos.

I think this country was really founded more on law & order & it’s plain to see we have a real mess when it is not followed. The punishments for breaking the law as in major offenses might be changed a bit so as to make the offender more likely to regret what he/she has done & also create a harder lesson for those who would be planning the same thing. Just jail or fines is not necessarily always the answer. There are other possible ways for both felonies & misdemeanors.

Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" has been the foundation of leftist thinking since 1960's, I have a copy myself which I bought in the 90's.
It should be noted that Trump has used many of the techniques from that book against them, such as "ridicule as a weapon".
We still have a core of Americans who believe in this country.

Yea, not happy if the leftist loons force ICE to retreat and stop enforcing the laws. The ops weren't managed properly, we needed to demand local law enforcement on site to do crowd control.

Sadly, it will depend in large measure on which party is in office at critical times as to which party "owns" law enforcement.

If that book was part of my HS curriculum, I might have been better prepared for working with people 10 years older than me. I didn’t even know that I didn’t know and I didn’t know who did know!
The world these radical lefties - like Alinsky and his followers - aspire to is the old Soviet Union.
Same playbook. Same tactics to seize power.
Result in the old USSR: At least 66 million dead before the entire warped system imploded in on itself.
I do not wish to live in the same world as these lefties - corrupt, violent, anarchic.
