Shots rang out in Minneapolis early Saturday after federal police tried to subdue a man who was waving around a gun, according to law enforcement sources and video posted to social media.
A 39-second clip showed about half a dozen cops struggling with someone on the sidewalk in front of a donut shop at 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, when the gunfire erupted.
The officers appeared to scatter after the shot went off, according to the footage.
The shooting happened after the man brandished a firearm with two magazines, a law enforcement source told The Post.
In a statement, city officials urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area.
“We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details,” the statement said.

Court trial resulted in the office being cleared but he and his family have to live in protection in another state. A lot to pay for being a good cop.
Shrug! About 110 people are shot ever day in America. It’s stupid how the news media are going crazy because one man with a gun was shot by another man with a gun. But there are good basketball games on TV today & NFL playoffs tomorrow, so I know what I’ll be watching over the weekend.

This makes me want to send in more agents not fewer. I think Minnesota has gangs, the foreigners, and the paid radical protesters, so why wouldn’t you fight there. Until the foreign mobsters are all removed, I see no reason for the Feds to back down in Minnesota.
The problem is the census will count (and overcount) these vermin - keeping more house seats for MN than they should actually have. There needs to be a significant reduction in the illegals parked in the commie states - at the same time cutting off the NGO money that flows into the commie organizzations.
