Vance detailed the connection between abortion and pagan child sacrifices.
President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the March For Life crowd in Washington, D.C. on Friday, appearing on a massive screen at the site of the demonstration.
“In 2026, as we celebrate 250 years since our founding fathers recognized the right to life in our Declaration of Independence, I want to thank every single one of you who was out on this winter day,” he said.
Trump said he was proud to stand for the unborn and being the first sitting U.S. president to physically attend the March for Life in 2020.
In the past six years, America has “made unprecedented strides to protect innocent life and protect the institution of the family,” POTUS said.
“This is a battle that must be fought, must be won, not only in the corridors of power, but above all, in the hearts and souls of the people,” Trump said in a pre-recorded message. “That is why, under the Trump administration, we’re strongly defending religious liberty. We’re bringing back faith in America. We’re bringing back God.”
Vice President JD Vance made an in-person appearance at the march, telling the crowd about the pagan roots of abortion.
“In the ancient pagan world, discarding children was routine. From the skeletons in brothels to the child sacrifice of the Mayans, the mark of barbarism is that we treat babies like inconveniences to be discarded rather than the blessings to cherish that they are,” he stated. “The March For Life… is about whether we remain a civilization under God or we return to the paganism that dominated the past. The far left in this country tells our young people that marriage and children are obstacles… We know it’s a lie.”
The Trump administration is the most openly pro-life administration perhaps in U.S. history, as is necessary in the face of the left celebrating killing their unborn children and turning a blind eye to the massive numbers who have been aborted in recent decades.

So this was a gathering where Gavin Newsom didn’t push himself inside the group to get TV face time.
I heard a comment this morning wondering if JD Vance would distance himself a little from Trump or not. Trump’s compromising on the enforcement of the Hyde Amendment ban on tax paid abortions and the abortion drug controversy.
Did he mention that drug today? I didn’t watch.
Yeah, No. No, No and No some more.
If I was a one issue only supporter then I woild not have voted for Trump based on his pro-life waverings.
