I'm posting this especially for my fellow Generation Xers. This looks like it could be a big gloriously dumb and FUN movie! The kind of thing that could draw people to the theater and give them a good time. It's like they took the He-Man action figures we played with out of the box and onto the screen. Idris Elba is playing Man At Arms and Jared Leto is Skeletor.
Hoping they'll have a Castle Grayskull popcorn bucket to go along with this.

Looks better than I expected , though Im not exactly a He-Man super fan. If I had to guess I’d say it’s probably as good as a Marvel comic book movie. I wish they gave Skeletor some lines in the trailer, I wanted to hear how he sounds in the movie considering his 80s cartoon voice is pretty iconic.
Got to get the woke in every movie they make. I don’t recall Man-at-arms being black, and I’m sure Teela, or whoever the gal is will be the real hero.
First off, that does look pretty cool.
Second off, I am shocked that they did not reimagine He-Man as a transgender male.
Third, there is still time, however, to make all the chicks in the movie gay and you can’t tell from the trailer if we will be treated to a woman being the real power behind He-Man who can’t wipe his butt without the Mary Sue telling him how.
I thought the word “Master” was racist. Shouldn’t they be Community Organizers of the Universe? Or Chairpeople, something like that?
They should have updated the costume. The costume looks a bit silly in real life.

It does look like fun, and I hate superhero movies. Other than Iron Man. The first one.
I prefer Captain America myself.
Is Nancy Pelosi playing Skeletor?

That's the same thing that some people said when Elba played Heimdall in the Thor movies. I think we should let it slide, definitely.
At least, I hope that this movie doesn't drift into woke territory. MOTU is one of the more beloved franchises from the childhood of many of us. I don't want to see it ruined like a lot of other things have been.
